What are the requirements to use the DIRECTV app?

To use the DIRECTV app, you’ll need:
- An active DIRECTV account and programming package
- Access to a mobile device
- High-speed internet
- A directv.com account—which will also be used to sign in to the DIRECTV app. (Either a directv.com login or an AT&T user ID)
In addition, to live stream the same channels you get at home and access your DVR playlist, you will need:
- DIRECTV Genie HD DVR (HR44 or above) connected to high-speed internet
- Wi-Fi router
