I can’t mount my Razer Seirēn Emote on my microphone arm as the screw is

too small. What should I do?

Ensure you are using a 5/8 thread screw to mount your Razer Seiren Emote. If your microphone arm does not fit, you may need to use a 3/8 to 5/8 adapter.

Why is there a lot of popping when I speak into the microphone?

Do not place the microphone directly in front of your mouth. Instead, position the microphone off to the side so that the air from your mouth does not directly hit it when you speak. Alternatively, you can purchase a pop filter or windscreen to help reduce the airflow going into the microphone.

I am picking up a lot of background noise when I use the microphone. What

can I do to reduce this sound?

If your Razer Seirēn X is picking up unwanted noise, try the following:

Ensure that your microphone is positioned close to your mouth; lower the gain on your microphone.
Ensure that there are no fans or air-conditioning units blowing directly onto your Razer Seirēn X.
Broadcasting software like OBS come equipped with plugins that can assist in the reduction of background noise. Find out more about OBS.

What kind of lighting does the Razer Seiren Emote feature?

The Razer Seiren Emote features an 8-bit LED display powered by an Emoticon Engine to help express yourself. Choose from over 100 designs or design your own with the emoticon editor.

Can I customize the pre-set emoticons in Razer Seiren Emote?

The emoticons are pre-set. However, you can import your own 8×8 gif or use the editor within the Streamer Companion App to create a customized design.

What are the connectivity options of the Razer Seiren Emote?

The Razer Seiren Emote can be connected only through a USB connectivity.

Can I adjust the height of the Razer Seiren Emote?

Yes. The Razer Seiren Emote includes an interchangeable gooseneck in the box so you can adjust the height to your liking and position the mic to suit your needs.

Does the Razer Seiren Emote have a mute button?

Yes. The Razer Seiren Emote does have a dedicated mute button and headphone volume control.

Does the Razer Seiren Emote feature a built-in shock mount?

Yes. When the mic is accidentally knocked down or bumped, the shock mount on the Razer Seiren Emote reduces the vibration to maintain the smooth and uninterrupted recording.

Does the Razer Seiren come in different color variants?

No. The Razer Seiren Emote is only available in Classic Black variant.

What are the required software needed to fully utilize the Razer Seiren

Emote?

To use stream reactive emoticons and alerts, you will need to install the Streamer Companion App and Synapse 3 with the Chroma Connect module. Check out the FAQ page of the Streamer Companion App to learn more.

How can I modify or disassemble my Razer product?

We cannot help you in modifying or disassembling your Razer product since that will void the manufacturer’s warranty on the unit.

How do I clean my Razer Seiren Emote microphone?

We cannot say with certainty what type of dirt and debris may be on your product, or how certain cleaning products may react with it, but we have had good luck cleaning Razer products using commonly available monitor cleaning wipes. To clean the body of your Razer microphone, please take a monitor wipe and use gentle wiping motions. Do not scrub the surface of your Razer microphone. When cleaning your microphone, take extra care not to get any liquids inside the mesh, as this may damage your microphone.

Can I create my own GIF in the Streamer Companion App?

No, you can’t. However, you can create your own GIF in any pixel art creator of your choice.

Are there any restrictions when creating my own GIF?

When creating your own GIF, be sure to follow the guidelines below:

Set the resolution to 8×8.
Set the scale to 1.0x.
Save your file as .gif

How do I import GIFs on the Streamer Companion App?

To import GIFs on the Streamer Companion App, follow the instructions below:

Open the Streamer Companion App.
Go to the “EDITOR” tab.
On the left sidebar, choose the “8-Bit LED Matrix” and click on the “+” sign beside it.
On the right sidebar, under “IMPORT GIF”, click the “IMPORT” button.
Choose the GIF in the File Explorer and click “Open”.

Note : The Streamer Companion App only accepts 8×8 GIF resolution.

How do I assign the emojis or GIFs to the audience interaction while

streaming using the Streamer Companion App?

To assign the emojis or GIFs according to your audience’s interaction using the Streamer Companion App on the Razer Seiren Emote, follow the steps below:

Open the Streamer Companion App.
Go to the “ALERTS” tab.
Under Streamlabs or Twitch, select an “Alert”.
Click the toggle switch to enable the “Alert”.
Click the “ADD DEVICE” area.
Under Razer Streaming Specific Devices, select Seiren Emote.
Under “RAZER SEIREN EMOTE”, click on the “Effects” dropdown box and select emojis, Chroma effects or imported GIFs.

Note : You can set the effect repetitions under “End after”.

What is the Streamer Companion App?

The Streamer Companion App is the software you use to customize your Razer Kraken Kitty Edition and Seiren Emote‘s alerts and emoticons.

Note: The app is currently in Beta stage.

What do I need to use the Streamer Companion App?

To get started, ensure that you have Razer Synapse 3 and the Chroma Connect module installed. Razer Synapse 3 must be signed into and running in order to install and use the Streamer Companion App.

Do I need to sign up to use the Streamer Companion App?

When first opening the Streamer Companion App, you will be prompted to link to either your Twitch or Streamlabs account. Just link to your preferred streaming account, and you’re good to go!

How do I add a device to an alert?

To add a device:

Open the Streamer Companion App and click the “ALERTS” tab.
Click the specified event where you want to add a device to.
Toggle the switch to “On”.
Click “Add Device”.
Select the device/s you want to add.
Click the exit button of the pop-up. The device is now added.

How do I remove a device from an alert?

To remove a device:

Open the Streamer Companion App and click the “ALERTS” tab.
Click the specified event where you want to remove a device from.
Click “Remove” under the device’s icon. The device is now removed from the event.

I want to unlink my Streamlabs or Twitch account. How do I do so?

You may unlink your account by going to the “CONNECTIONS” tab and unlinking your specified account. However, you will be directed back to the initial linking page and will lose access to the Alerts and Editor tabs.
