Assembly

Slide handle down over body of vacuum.
-
Insert two screws and fasten using screwdriver.
-
Insert hose with elbow end facing down and align, locking tab with slot. Rotate clockwise until snapped into place.
-
Take the opposite end of the hose and open the foot base door. Insert hose end into foot and push into place.
Once inserted into the foot, hose should be stretched into the side and upper hose clips.
-
Install extension wand and crevice tool in back of the unit as shown.
-
Install Pet TurboEraser Tool in front of vacuum by inserting end upward into handle until “clicks”.
-
Includes a Febreze® filter. To switch your filter, remove the dirt tank by pushing the release button on the tank handle and lifting away.
-
Remove filter in unit and replace with the Febreze® filter. The Febreze® filter must first be removed from the bag before inserting it into the machine.
Return dirt tank back onto vacuum, it will click when locked into place.
NOTE: The Pet Hair Eraser Tool and Dusting Brush do not store on-board (see Tools section for usage).
Tools
To attach any of the included tools, remove the lower wand base from the foot
of the vacuum and from both hose clips. Insert the desired tool firmly into
the hose end
Pet Crevice Tool
Use END side as standard crevice tool. Twist to SIDE to open up suction across
rubber fingers for upholstery and large surface areas.
Extension Wand
Attach with desired tool for longer reach.
Dusting Brush
Use brush to dust furniture, blinds, books, lamps, shelves and baseboards.
Pet TurboEraser™ Tool
Remove tool by pulling away and downwards from vacuum. For best use, press the
brush gently down and pull towards you in raking motion; too much pressure
will cause brush to stop rotating
Pet Hair Eraser™ Tool
Move sweeper from side to side. When you hear “click”, reverse the motion.
Clean inside the dirt bin by pressing on the side tabs gently to open. You can
use a damp cloth or towel to clean excess dirt and any excess hair. Connect
the hose to use with the vacuum or you can use without the hose connection.

Lowest Setting: For low pile carpet and bare floors.
Medium Setting: For medium pile carpet.

Maintenance & Care
Empty Dirt Tank

Remove tank by pressing the release button on the tank handle.
-
Grasp handle on back of tank with one hand and the top handle with the other. Twist the top handle counterclockwise until latches release. Pull the top handle straight up from the dirt tank.
-
Empty contents of dirt tank into trash container, and gently shake the top handle to remove build up.
-
Place the top handle straight down into the dirt tank. Align the latch arrows and gently twist clockwise. When fully assembled, the tank will click into place. Replace the tank back onto the vacuum – it will click when fully installed.
NOTE: If you notice excess build up around the top of the tank, before removing top piece, gently tap the tank to allow contents to settle.
Pre-Motor Filter
-
Remove the dirt tank to locate and remove the pre-motor filter. Pinch the filter and lift to remove from unit.
-
While holding over trash, gently separate filter layers (being careful not to rip filter layers) and shake out excess debris.
NOTE: Filter can be rinsed in warm water. Allow it to completely dry before replacing. If the filter is damaged, replace the part.
NOTICE: Your vacuum model includes a Febreze® filter. Over time with washing, you will notice a reduction in the scent strength.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of electrical shock, turn power switch off and disconnect polarized plug from electrical outlet before performing maintenance or troubleshooting checks.
Post-Motor Filter
-
Located on the front near the height adjustment knob, remove filter door by pressing and pulling latch downward.
-
Remove the filter by grasping the handle on the front of the filter and pulling out from vacuum. Clean, wash, or replace filter, as necessary
-
Replace filter in unit with handle facing you. Replace the door by hooking the bottom into the grooves and rotate towards unit, snapping into place.
NOTE: The pleated postmotor filter may NOT be washed with water or detergent. If dust and/or debris accumulates on filter, gently tap the filter on the side of a garbage container.
WARNING: Do not operate vacuum with damp or wet filters, as well as without filters or the Dirt Container in place. Allow components to dry before reassembling the Dirt Container.
Floor Brush Roll
-
Ensure vacuum is unplugged. Place handle in low position, remove hose from foot and turn vacuum over bottom side up. Remove 6 screws with a Phillips head screwdriver. Lift brush cover off of the vacuum
-
Grasp rotating floor brush at both ends and lift straight out of the vacuum foot. Slip off the belt.
-
Clean debris from rotating floor brush, motor pulley, drive belt and air passageway areas.
Drive Belt
-
With rotating brush removed (steps 1-3 maintenance floor brush roll), grasp old drive belt and remove from motor pulley.
-
Place new belt over motor pulley and stretch other end over the floor brush.
-
Place ends of rotating floor brush down into slots. Reposition bottom cover and replace all 6 screws.
Cleaning the Dirt Tank
-
With the top handle removed, wash the dirt tank in warm water with mild detergent. Allow tank to air dry.
-
Twist top handle from the round separator counterclockwise to release. Wash in warm water with mild detergent. Dry completely before reassembling.
-
Align tabs to return separator to top handle. Align latch arrows and twist tank clockwise until “clicks” into place.
Clearing a Clog
-
Remove dirt tank and check suction inlet located on body of vacuum for debris.
-
Grasp upper hose end and twist elbow counterclockwise to remove. Remove lower hose end by pulling it from vacuum base. Unclog by inserting a “blunt” object, like a broom handle, into hose to dislodge blockage. Do not use sharp objects.
NOTE: If clog persists, follow the floor brush roll maintenance steps above and inspect air passageways for obstructions.
