Important notification
-
The model is supplied with UFO and 502 glue. UFO is for bonding foam parts, and 502 for bonding wood, carbon fiber, and metal parts. 502 glue will cause serious corrosion to foam parts.
-
Please wait for the glue to dry and solidify in each installation step before the next installation.
-
Please avoid using flame to heat the heat-shrinkable tube on the model. Electric iron shall be used for heating.
-
Please use razor blade to remove the parts from the plate. Do not tear the parts by force.
-
Connect the servos to a powered receiver. Bind the receiver with your transmitter to make the servos return to their neutral point. Test whether the servos are normal, and install the servo arms according to the position shown in the picture.
Note: Important step. Please make sure that the servos have been tested and installed in strict accordance with the following picture. After assembling the model, it will be not able to adjust.
-
Combined servo seat and hull side plate.
-
Details: the bottom of steering gear should be 2mm away from the edge of hull side plate.
-
Prepare the hull top and bottom plates.
-
Install the stern bottom plate.
-
Install the stern top plate of the hull.
-
Install the top plate of the middle part of the hull with a small hole and one end facing forward.
-
Details: the top plate in the middle of the hull shall not interfere with the movement of the steering arm.
-
Details: there should be a gap between the middle part of the hull and the tail roof to allow the pushrod to pass through.
-
To install the bottom plate of the hull head, the plate can be bent in advance before installation.
-
Combined hatch cover.
-
Combined hatch cover.
-
The composite hatch cover can be bent before installation.
-
Fix the magnet with the magnet holder.
-
Install the hull and hatch cover magnet seat.
-
Close the hatch cover without glue.
-
To paste the deck sticker, please apply a small amount of glue in advance to increase the fixing strength.
-
Motor base parts.
-
Align the bottom and glue the middle and right motor base parts. Note: there is a height difference of 2mm at the top of the two panels.
-
Glue the motor base bracket; fix the motor with glue. The motor cable is placed in the middle slot.
-
Glue the left motor base plate
-
Install the spar. Please keep the spar perpendicular to the motor base.
-
Use the end of a carbon fiber rod to score through the half-cut line of the wing surface.
-
Install the lower wings symmetrically.
Note: Before applying glue, please test fit the wing to ensure it can be installed in place.
Apply glue in the installation groove of the side plate of the fuselage.
-
Use the end of a carbon fiber rod to score through the half-cut line of the elevator surface.
-
Use the end of a carbon fiber rod to score through the half-cut line of the rudder surface.
-
Tail parts.
-
Combine the tail parts.
-
Control horn parts.
-
Combine the control horn parts.
-
Glue the control horn parts on the tail. Please make sure that the elevator and rudder can move freely.
-
Install the tail assembly and paste the tail side sticker. Make sure the horizontal tail is parallel to the fuselage and the vertical tail is vertical to the fuselage
-
Patch on the bottom of motor base.
-
Glue the bottom patch of motor base.
-
Install the motor base and paste the side sticker of the motor base.
Please make sure that the motor base is completely perpendicular to the fuselage.
-
Distinguish the front and rear direction of wing strut.
-
Install the wing strut (insert the bottom of the strut into the installation hole of the wing).
-
Install the upper wing (insert the top of strut into the installation hole of wing).
During the bonding process, apply pressure at the center of the wing until the glue is cured to ensure that the upper wing is fully bonded to the spar.
-
Stick stickers on wing center and motor base side.
-
Use heat-shrinkable tube to connect aileron pull rod and steel wire clip.
-
Use heat-shrinkable tube to connect the pull rod and steering gear wire chuck, and drip 502 glue to fix them.
-
Extend the carbon rod of the pull rod from the slot at the middle and rear of the hull, and use tweezers to fasten the steel wire clamp on the hole of the servo arm.
The servo arm can be swung forward here for easy installation. After installation, please power on the receiver and return the servo arm to neutral position.
-
Details: the carbon rod of the pull rod extends from the slot in the middle and rear of the hull.
-
Install the rudder angle wire clamp on the control horn hole. Cut off the excess length of the carbon rod, connect the steel wire with the carbon rod with a heat-shrinkable tube, and drip 502 glue to fix it.
-
Buoy trim.
-
Install balance buoy trim.
-
The receiver is placed deep in the cabin and the battery is placed in the front of the cabin.
