CHARGING THE BATTERIES

  1. Plug the AC adapter into an outlet.

  4. When fully charged, disconnect the batteries from the charger.

INSTALLING THE BATTERIES

  1. Locate the input plugs inside the small pouches in the Heated Pants, and connect the charged batteries. Place the batteries into the pouches once connected.
  2. Press and hold the control button in the Heated Pants for three to five seconds, or until the LED light flashes red with one long vibration. This will be Pre-heat mode.
  3. After approximately five minutes, the LED light will change to solid white, indicating the Heated Pants are no longer in Pre-heat mode. The temperature can now be adjusted by pressing the control button. When you change heating modes, the LED color will change, and you will feel vibrations as indicated in the chart below.
  4. To turn off the Heated Pants, press and hold the control button for three to five seconds or until the LED light turns off with one long vibration.

BATTERY USE AND CARE

  • Do not use the batteries if you notice a change of shape (lumps), overheating when charging, rust or corrosion on the battery connectors.
  • Charge the batteries regularly (recommended a minimum of once every 3 months).
  • Charge between each use.
  • The battery life is 300+ cycles before the batteries will diminish in capacity output.
  • Lithium-ion batteries provides a diminished capacity output at extreme cold temperatures. Keep the batteries away from cold to minimize the impact.
  • • For best performance, it is recommended NOT to fully charge the batteries if the product is not being used for a longer period of time. Charge for 30 minutes only and after 3 months charge the batteries again for about 30 minutes. Charge the batteries completely before using product again.
  • When batteries are not in use, keep them away from other metal objects like paper clips, coins, nails, screws or other small metal objects that can make a connection from one terminal to another.
  • Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire.
  • Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the batteries: avoid contact. If contact accidently occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the batteries may cause irritation or burns.
