Before removing the heater, leave it in the water for more than 20 minutes after turning off the power.
  3. Do not use a wet hand to insert or remove the plug to the power outlet.

Request for safe and comfortable use of the product

  • Management of water temperature
In order to control the water temperature properly, use an air pump and a filtration device to stir or circulate the water in the tank. In order to protect the important fishes from breakage, disconnection, and breakage etc. of the heater, please use the water temperature gauge regularly and carry out the water temperature control It is recommended to use a highly reliable water temperature gauge with an indication of accuracy.

  • Management of water volume
The evaporation of the breeding water is faster than expected, and the heater body may be exposed to the air before it is noticed. Not only the product life will be shortened, it will also lead to serious accidents such as fires, sO water volume needs to be managed on a daily basis. In particular, be careful when the air is dry even in low temperatures, such as winter, because evaporation is significant. Also, when using a cooling fan in summer, be aware that the amount of water may decrease sharply.

  • Care of the heater tube
After use of the heater, calcium carbonate contained in algae and breeding water such as moss may clump and adhere to the heater tube. f dirt adheres to the heater tube, use a sponge or cloth and water to wipe it out early. Do not use alcohol or other medicines as this may damage the heater or damage the health of the breeding fish. When used for a long time with the dirt attached, please be aware that it may cause failure due to the inability to control the temperature correctly.

  • Cleaning the plug and around the outlet
If dust, water, salt, etc. get between the power outlet and the plug, it may cause a serious accident such as a tracking fire. Because the area around the water tank is especially humid, you need to be careful. Please clean and check the outlet plug and its surroundings regularly. Do not use outlets or plugs that show abnormalities such as rust or deformation due to the adhesion of water or salt.

  • Prepare spare heat retention equipment
The heater is a highly exhausted electrical product that operates 24 hours under water and repeats ON / OFF. Although there are differences depending on the operating environment and conditions, in about one year, the heating wire inside the heater will be in a state that consumption of metal deterioration is progressing. In addition, the heat of the heater and breeding water will also cause the body to deteriorate. If you continue using it as it is, it will suddenly become unusable due to the end of life because of disconnection or other questions. In order to ensure safety, please reserve spare heat-keeping equipment and replace it with a new product after a year as a guide.

  • About temperature control range
If the ambient temperature of the water tank falls below 15 C(59T) in winter, the water temperature may fall below the control range, even with the proper water volume, but this is not a malfunction of the product. Please note that higher wattage (W) heaters will be required if the aquarium is installed where the ambient temperature is below 15° C(59F). If the breeding water is not circulated or stirred, the breeding water will be in a stagnant state, and the water temperature in the tank will not be uniform, and there may be variations depending on the position where the water temperature is measured.

Set procedure

  •  Step 1.Place the heater in water with the suction cups.
  • Step 2. Plug the heater into the outlet.
  • Step 3. Set the desire temperature with the temperature adjustment dial.

Warning

  1. Make sure that the heater is completely submerged.
  2. Fix the heater securely with suction cups.
  3. Please do not bury or contact the heater with the gravel.
  4. The heater body is made of quartz, so please handle with care.
  5. Make sure that strong water flow near the filter utlet and inlet and the air pump air bubbles do not hit the heater tube directly.
