BEFORE THE FIRST USE
- Do not use the machine outside. This machine is only suitable for household use indoors. This air humidifier may not be used for commercial or industrial purposes.
- Place the dehumidifier on a flat, even surface which is strong enough to support the machine with a full water reservoir.
- Leave at least 20 cm on each side of the machine to provide good air circulation.
- Place the machine in an environment where the temperature will not fall below 5°C. The radiators may freeze, which will reduce the machine’s performance.
- Do not place the machine near a dryer, heater or radiator.
- Use the machine to avoid moisture damage.
- To be as efficient as possible, the dehumidifier should be used in a closed room. Close all the doors, windows or other openings to the outside in the room.
- Do not move the machine with water in the water reservoir. The machine may fall over and water may spill.
USE
- Let the machine run for 24 hours when you use it for the first time.
- The machine is designed to work in an environment with a temperature between 5°C and 35°C.
- If the machine is turned off and turned on again quickly, give the machine approximately 3 minutes to restart correctly.
- Do not connect the dehumidifier to a shared outlet which is used for other devices.
- Choose a suitable location with an easily accessible outlet.
- Connect the machine to an earthed outlet, where the voltage is consistent with the voltage listed on the machine.
- Make sure that the water reservoir is in the correct position, otherwise it will not work properly.

EXTRA FUNCTIONS
Automatic Defrost
When ice forms in the machine, the machine will automatically start to thaw
itself.
Automatic Shut-Off
When the water reservoir is full, has been pulled out or is not in the correct
position, the dehumidifier will shut off automatically. When the desired
humidity degree has been reached, the machine will turn itself off
automatically.
Automatic Restart
If the machine is unexpectedly disconnected from the power, when the power is
restored, the machine
will turn back on automatically at the setting set before the power was
disconnected.
Wait 3 minutes before restarting operation
When the machine is stopped, it cannot be restarted for the first three
minutes. This is to protect the
machine. The machine will automatically restart after 3 minutes.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
REMOVING THE WATER IN THE WATER RESERVOIR
There are two ways to remove the water from the reservoir.
-
Use the water reservoir
When the water reservoir is full, the appliance will automatically stop and the indication light for full water reservoir will turn on.- Slowly remove the water reservoir from the machine. Hold it securely and pull the reservoir slowly out, so that no water is spilled.
- Pour the water out and place the reservoir back in the machine. The reservoir must be placed correctly back in the machine so that the dehumidifier will work properly.
- The machine will resume functioning when the water reservoir is replaced correctly in position.
-
Continual drainage
The water reservoir can be automatically emptied via a drain by connecting a water hose to the machine. (circumference: 12 mm, not included).- The outlet for the drain is located on the back of the machine.
- Pull the rubber stopper out of the opening.
- Insert the water hose through the opening into the machine. Connect the hose tightly to the drainage outlet and make sure that the connection is tight and that no water can leak out.
- Lead the hose to the location to which the water is destined, such as a floor drain. Make sure that this point is lower than the drainage outlet.
- Make sure that the hose runs vertically, so that the water can drain quickly.
NOTE: When this continual drainage is not used, make sure that the rubber stopper is in the drainage hole.
CLEANING
Grill and Housing
Use water and a mild detergent to wipe the grill and the housing clean. Do not
use bleach water or
abrasive agents.
Do not pour or spill water directly onto the machine. This can cause
electrical shock, damage to the insulation or rust on the machine.
The grill where the air enters and exits can easily become soiled. Use a
vacuum cleaner accessory or a
brush to clean it.
Water reservoir
Clean the water reservoir regularly to prevent the growth of mould and
bacteria. Partially fill the water
reservoir with clean water and add a bit of mild detergent. Rinse the
reservoir with this solution, pour the solution out, and rinse the reservoir
again.
After cleaning, the reservoir must be replaced correctly into the dehumidifier
so that the machine will
function.
NOTE: The water reservoir is not dishwasher safe.
Air Filter
The air filter behind the grill grate should be checked and cleaned every 30
days.
Remove the filter. Clean it with warm water with a mild detergent. Rinse the
filter and let it dry before
putting it back.
NOTE: The filter is not dishwasher safe.
NOTE: Never use the dehumidifier without a filter. The machine may get
clogged by dirt and dust which will negatively affect its performance.
When the machine has not been used for a long time
- Turn the machine off and wait a day before emptying the water reservoir. This gives the machine a chance to drain and there will be as little residual moisture in the machine as possible.
- Clean the machine, the water reservoir and the air filter.
- Cover the machine with a plastic sack.
- Store the machine upright in a dry, well ventilated place.
