WARNING: Unroll before use. Never plug in the LED lights when rolled up, as this can result in product damage or a fire.
SETTING UP YOUR LIGHTSTRIP
Shortening your lightstrip
- Decide how long you need your lightstrip to be. When measuring, make sure that you start from the side of the tape that has the controller box connected to it. The part of the tape that you cut off will no longer light up.
- Locate the nearest cut line, and cut with a pair of scissors.
Cut lines are about 1.3 in. (3.3 cm) apart.
WARNING: Do not cut the silver solder markings. Only cut in the center of the copper-colored pads, as shown.
Attaching your lights
Adhesive backing
Note: You can secure your lightstrip in place with its adhesive backing
or cable clips.
CAUTION: To avoid damage to the lightstrip, do not sharply twist or bend
the lightstrip 90° or more
- Peel the adhesive backing off the lights, then attach the lights where you want them.
- Optional: Attach the double-sided tape (not included) to the back of the light control, then attach it where you want it.
Notes:
- Make sure that the lightstrip is unrolled, otherwise it can damage the lightstrip or cause a fire.
- Every surface is different, and additional adhesive may be used if the LED tape detaches from the surface. Small pieces of clear tape can be used.
Cable clips

Make sure that your mounting location is clean, dry, and free of oils.

Remove the adhesive backing on a cable clip, and push it firmly where you want to mount your lightstrip.

Align the lightstrip with the cable clip.

Slide the cable clip through the buckle and pull to tighten.

Repeat steps 1-4 to attach the second cable clip.
Connecting to power

Connect the USB connector to your USB power supply, then plug the USB power supply into a power outlet.
WARNING: Unroll before use. Never plug in the LED lights when rolled up, as this can result in product damage or a fire.
OR -
Connect the USB connector to your TV, computer, or other USB power source.
Your connected USB device may need to be turned on for your lightstrip to receive power.
USING YOUR LIGHTSTRIP
Note: If you turn off or unplug your lightstrip, it will remember your last brightness and color settings.

Press (COLOR) repeatedly to change the color combination. There are 16 selectable colors, including white.

Press (POWER) to turn the lightstrip on and off.

Press (MODE) repeatedly to change the mode.
There are four modes:- Jumps between 3 colors
- Fades through 16 colors
- Jumps between 7 colors
- Brightening and dimming white light

Press (Brightness/Speed) repeatedly to adjust the brightness and color rotation speed. You can adjust the brightness when using one of the colors or the rotation speed when using one of the four modes.

TROUBLESHOOTINGLEDs will not turn on.
LEDs will not turn on.
- Press the power button to make sure that your lights are turned on, then press (Brightness/Speed) to adjust the lightstrip’s brightness/speed.
- Make sure that your lights are connected to a working USB port or power outlet. If connected to a computer, turn on your computer.
- Make sure that your lights are plugged into the USB power supply, then make sure that the USB power supply is plugged into a working power outlet.
- If your lights are plugged into a USB port on a TV, computer,or other device and they are not working, use the included USB power supply.
- If you are trying to reach full brightness, especially with white light, use the included 2.1A power supply. Your lightstrip will still function with lower-output power supplies, just at reduced brightness. Using the included USB power supply will ensure the best performance.
LEDs flicker or turn on and off.
- Make sure that your lights are plugged into a working power outlet or USB port.
- Try plugging into a different power source.
- Use the included USB power supply for best performance.
- Make sure that the cable is not damaged.

- To avoid damage to the lightstrip, do not sharply twist or bend the light strip 90° or more.
- Do not cut the silver solder markings. Only cut in the center of the copper-colored pads.
- Do not plug in your lights when they are coiled. This can generate excess heat which can damage the product or connected device.
