INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: CHARGING THE CASE

• Please ensure that the battery is fully charged before using the device for the first time.
• Connect the provided USB charge cable to the DC 5 V charging slot on the charging case; connect the other end of the USB to a wall charger or an available USB port on a compatible device.
• The red LED indicator light will pulse to indicate that charging has begun.
• The LED Indicator will blink to indicate that the battery is flat.
  Note: Once fully charged, the Red LED will stay on.

CHARGING THE EARPHONES

• Please ensure that the battery is fully charged before using the device for the first time.
• Place the earphones into the charging case. A red LED Indicator Light inside the earphones will turn on when the charging has begun. When the charging is complete, the red LED Indicator Lights will switch off automatically.
  Note: The earphones will turn off when inserted into the charging case, even if they were powered on before charging.

SWITCHING ON THE EARPHONES

• The earphones switch on automatically when removed from the charging case.
• To switch on the device manually, touch and hold the Multi-Function Touch Button for about 6 seconds until the LED Indicator Lights on the earphones turn on and start flashing.
• To switch off the device, press and hold the Multi-Function Touch Button for about 3 seconds until the LED Indicator Lights turn off.
  Note: When the earphones are switched on manually, they would need to be switched on individually.

PAIRING WITH EACH OTHER

• Take out both earphones from the charging case or manually switch both earphones on at the same time. The LED Indicator Lights on Master (main) earphone will flash white and red alternately; and the LED Indicator Light on Slave (secondary) earphone will blink white slowly while the earphones are connecting to each other.
•  Wait a couple of seconds and you will hear the earphones automatically pair to each other.
  Note: To use the earphones individually, remove one earphone from the charging case at a time, and connect to a Bluetooth device.

PAIRING WITH BLUETOOTH DEVICES

• Your earphones must be paired to a Bluetooth device before they can be used. It is only necessary to pair the earphones once with each device.
• Please switch on your earphones before attempting to pair them to a Bluetooth device.
•  When switched on, the earphones will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode.

1. Open the Bluetooth Menu on the device you wish to pair (see “Locating the Bluetooth Menu” for more details). If Bluetooth is not on, activate it. Some devices require you to select “Search for Devices” or Add New Device” in order to create a Bluetooth pairing.
2. Wait till you see “Libra” on your device screen.
3. Select “Libra” on your device and follow any further prompts to pair.
   Once pairing is complete and a connection is established, the LED lights will turn off and the earphones will now be ready for use with your Bluetooth playback device.

RESET FUNCTIONS

• Please make sure your earbuds are fully charged.

• On your paired device(s), remove or delete Libra from the list of paired devices in the
  Bluetooth menu.

• Take out the earbuds from the charging case.

• Long press both earbuds for 8 seconds.

• The white LEDs on the earbuds will blink 3 times indicating that they have been reset.

• Place both the earbuds inside the charging case and repeat the pairing process.

LOCATING THE BLUETOOTH MENU

iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch
a) On your device, go to Settings.
b) Select Bluetooth. If Bluetooth is not on, turn it on.
c) The iPhone / iPad / iPod will automatically search for new devices.

AndroidTM Phones and Tablets:
a) On your device, go to the Settings Menu.
b) Select Bluetooth (on older Android devices Bluetooth is found in the Wireless & Networks Menu). If Bluetooth is not on, turn it on.
c) Select “Search for Devices” if your phone or tablet does not automatically search for
new devices.

TROUBLESHOOTING

1. My mobile phone cannot find any new Bluetooth devices?
   a. Ensure the Device has entered the pairing mode.
   b. Ensure the Device is within effective working range.

2. Bluetooth device cannot pair up?
   Ensure your mobile phone allows new connections and has not reached the maximum number of allowed devices.

3. The Device does not play music or answer calls when it is connected to a Bluetooth mobile phone?
   a. Ensure your mobile phone supports A2DP and HSF (Hands-free) profiles.
   b. Ensure your mobile phone is within effective working range.

4. When paired with my computer, Windows asks for a new driver. Can you supply this? We recommend you find compatible drivers for your computer online.

5. Why can I not remotely control the pause, play function when music is playing? This feature needs the Bluetooth device paired with the earphones to support AVRCP (Audio / Video Remote Control Profile). Please ensure your device supports this.

• Before Cleaning: Ensure that your Volkano Libra Series True Wireless Bluetooth Earphones are turned off before cleaning or maintaining your device.
• Cleaning: Wipe down the surface of your Volkano Libra Series True Wireless Bluetooth Earphones and / or Charging Case using a soft, slightly damp cloth.
• Do not use any harsh or abrasive cleaning chemicals or materials on your Volkano Libra Series True Wireless Bluetooth Earphones and Charging Case; doing so may damage or scratch the surface finish.
• Do not expose your Volkano Libra Series True Wireless Bluetooth Earphones and Charging Case to direct sunlight or high temperatures for extended periods of time.
• Do not store in temperatures over 60°C. Do not expose the battery to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like. Store in a cool, dry place.
