DOOR FRAME INSTALLATION
The Chin-Up Bar attaches and removes from standard door frames (61 to 81 cm wide) easily. Make sure the door frame and moldings are secure and solid before installing the Chin Up Bar. A weak door frame and/or moldings can cause the unit to fail and dislodge from the doorway.
Fig.1: Position the rubber hooks so that it rests on the top of the door frame/molding. The required door frame thickness at least of 1.5 cm on the wall.
Fig.2: Make sure the two foam grip ends on the opposite side of the door opening are in full contact with and resting against the side door frame molding.
IMPORTANT: Before using the Chin Up Bar,tug down on the grips to make sure the unit is securely installed into the door frame. The Chin Up Bar is not intended to be a permanent installation. Remove it until the next use to make sure it does not accidentally fall off when not in use.
WARNINGS
- Not suitable for use with hollow doors or decorative door frames.
- Consult your physician before engaging in any exercise activity.
- Stop exercise immediately if you experience pain.
- Always check the equipment before use.
- Replace product if any defects are detected.
- Not intended for use as a toy.
- Keep away from children.
WARRANTY
This Volkano Active Chin-Up Bar comes with a standard 12-month limited
warranty against manufacturing defects and faults. Should your Volkano Active
Chin-Up Bar be unboxed with any faulty parts, poor finishing, visible damage,
fail to perform due to a manufacturing defect or poor workmanship; please
return it with your proof of purchase (till slip or invoice) to the store of
purchase, for an exchange or repair, depending on the store’s returns policy.
Note: The Warranty does not apply to a product that:
- Has failed due to excessive wear and tear beyond what is considered to be reasonable.
- Has been misused or neglected.
- Has been damaged accidentally or by force majeure including fire and flooding.
- Has been used or operated contrary to operating or maintenance instructions outlined in this manual.
