How to Use?
Steps for using the hose
- Before using the expansion hose, make sure to place rubber gaskets where it is connected to the tap and to the nozzle, to prevent leakage. Connect one side of the hose to the tap with the screw connector and the other side to the nozzle with the shut-off valve and tighten both.
- Keep the valve closed, then open the tap to fill the hose with water.
- After a few seconds, you will see the hose start to rapidly expand.
- After the garden hose is fully expanded, open the valve, the hose will slightly contract, this is normal. Select the nozzle spray method you want to use.
- After using the garden hose, turn off the tap. Then, open the valve to drain the water in the hose. The garden hose will automatically shrink back to its original length.
Warning
- Do not drink water from the hose.
- Garden hoses are tools that are used and stored outdoors. They may contain substances that are harmful to humans, such as mold, bacteria, lawn and garden chemicals, insects, stagnant water and other substances. Please do not drink from the hose.
- Do not stretch the expansion hose unnecessarily, as when the hose is filled with water, it is possible for it to expand to 2 or 3 times its original length. If it is stretched without water and is accidentally released, it may rebound quickly and could cause serious personal injuries.
Care and maintenance:
- Do not allow any hot water to flow through this hose.
- When not using the garden hose, please turn off the tap and don’t leave the hose under pressure.
- When the hose is not being used in the summer, please drain it and keep it in the shade as much as possible.
- To protect the hose from cold winter temperatures, it is recommended that it be kept indoors. Before storing, please make sure to drain the hose completely, because any water left in the hose may freeze and damage it.
