CALYPSO Ceiling Lamp. Article 000.324.16

The glass shade on some CALYPSO ceiling lamps can detach and fall, posing impact and laceration hazards. IKEA has identified 19 incident reports in the U.S., including 3 resulting in minor injury.

To help prevent injuries, IKEA is voluntarily recalling the CALYPSO ceiling lamp with manufacturing date codes between 1625 and 1744 (YYWW). This recall is launched in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).

If you purchased a CALYPSO ceiling lamp after August 1st, 2016 and before July 2018, please carefully remove the shade to check the date code. If the date code is between 1625 and 1744, please return the lamp to any IKEA store for a replacement product or full refund. Proof of purchase (receipt) is not required.

IKEA apologizes for any inconvenience and wants to thank all customers for their understanding.

For more information, please contact IKEA at 888-966-4532.

Retail price: $29.00
