If you are experiencing No/Low Spray, follow these steps to resolve:

  • Does your machine have a hose?

  • Does the brush turn when the handle is reclined?

  • If the machine has a red filter in the area where the tank sits, clean the filter

    • Remove the red solution filter cap by inserting a coin or flathead screwdriver into the slot in the top
    • Pull out the white filter by grasping the post
    • Rinse filter under cold water
    • Reinstall filter & red cap, turn clockwise to tighten
  • Inspect the red gasket on the bottom of the water tank

    • If missing from water tank, look in the base of machine
    • If stuck in base, remove gasket using a pair of needle nose pliers and re-attach to water tank
    • If missing, a replacement gasket needs to be ordered > Go to Parts & Supplies
  • Fill tank bladder with water

  • While holding tank over sink, press on X-Valve inside red gasket – water should flow out freely

    • If not, empty tank, turn tank over
    • Take out the 4 screws from the black plate and remove from tank
    • Rinse gasket to clear any obstruction & reassemble
    • If water is still not flowing a replacement tank should be ordered > Go to Parts & Supplies
  • Refill tank with water and replace tank on machine

  • Switch dial to Floor Cleaning setting

  • Test for spray – Is there spray?
