Combine REGEX and REGEX.EXTRACT with other functions in Numbers to bring the power and flexibility of regular expressions to your spreadsheet calculations.
Regular expressions are sets of characters used to define search patterns. You can combine simple groupings of these characters to create sophisticated rules to find values within strings of text.
