FAQ’S
How long does it take to charge the SoundLink Mini?
It takes about 2 hours to fully charge the SoundLink Mini. The battery can provide up to 10 hours of play time.
What is the difference between Bose SoundLink mini and Bose SoundLink mini 2?
One major improvement over the original SoundLink Mini comes in the increased battery life. While the original maxed out at 7 hours, the Mini 2 offers up to 10 hours of battery life. It’s also easier to charge the speaker now.
Is the Bose Soundlink mini 2 waterproof?
Unfortunately, no. As durable and well-crafted as the SoundLink Mini (and its upgraded successor, the Mini II) is, it isn’t water-resistant to any degree, a fact which Bose clearly states in the product description on their website.
How long does it take to charge Bose SoundLink?
Typically, the battery will fully charge in about 3 hours; this varies depending on the charge level and if the product is in use while charging. In some cases, it can take up to 10 hours to fully charge.
Can you replace the battery in a Bose SoundLink?
The battery in your product can be removed so you can insert a new battery if your battery weakens or dies.
Can I use Bose SoundLink while charging?
Yes, you can use the SoundLink Micro while it is charging.
Can you overcharge a Bose speaker?
Plugging in overnight will not overcharge the battery
Lithium batteries have a built-in auto-off feature when a full charge is
reached to prevent the battery from being overcharged. Even while still
plugged in, the battery level will have to drop below a certain point to
trigger the charging again.
Does Bose speaker automatically turn off?
The system will automatically power off after 18 minutes if there has been no audio playback. If the system is not connected to the internet and has an empty Bluetooth® pairing list, it will turn off after 120 minutes of inactivity.
How do I know if my Bose Soundlink Mini 2 is charging?
Place the speaker on top of the cradle: The battery light blinks yellow while charging and glows solid green when charged.
How do I know if my Bose speaker is fully charged?
