Safety Instruction
Caution
- Ensure you are using your Car DVR within your country’s road laws. Please make sure you are familiar with your local road legislation before use. Avoid leaving your Car DVR in direct sunlight for extended periods of time in an unventilated space.
- Please set the time and date before you use this device to record.
- The notification given by the Car DVR are suggestions only, please drive to actual conditions.
- The system is to be used only for non-commercial use, within the limits permitted by the relevant laws.
- Avoid using the Car DVR in the vicinity of any devices that emit radio interference (eg. Microwave Ovens).
- It is considered a normal operation for the Car DVR to get warm during use.
Battery Warning
- Always charge the car DVR using the provided charger. Importing charging of the Car DVR may result in failure of the internal battery.
- Never dismantle the Car DVR or expose the internal battery.
- Do not dispose of the Car DVR in the fire.
- Dispose of the Car DVR to observe local regulations being mindful of the internal battery.
- Do not attempt to replace or expose the internal battery.
Note on installation

It is advised that the Car DVR is installed near the rearview mirror, at the top center of the windshield for optimal operation.

Make sure that the lens is within the range of the windscreen wiper to ensure a clear view when it rains.

Do not touch the lens with your fingers, fingers prints left on the lens will result in unclear videos or photos. If photos or videos are blurred, please clean the lens gently with a
microfibre cloth. -
Only use the included charging cable to power the Car DVR.

Getting Started
Inserting Memory Card With the Car DVR turned off and the screen facing towards you insert the memory card into the slot on the right of the camera with the text on the Micro SD card facing away from you. Push the memory card in until a “click” is heard.
Note:
- Do not remove or insert the memory card while the Car DVR is turned on as this may damage the memory card or corrupt the memory cards stored data.
- Please use a C10 or higher-rated micro SD card with a maximum capacity of 32GB.
- Please format the Micro SD card before the initial use.
- When removing the memory card, be careful as the card may eject quickly.
To remove the memory card, ensure that the Car DVR is powered off, then push the memory card until a click is heard, and then release the card to eject.
Installing the Car DVR
- Remove the protective stickers from the Car DVR and protective paper from the suction mount.
- Find the right position on the windscreen and fix it.
Adjust the device position
- Adjust the horizontal view angle by turning the camera left & right.
- Adjust the vertical view angle by moving up and down on the mount or sticker.
Connecting to Power
Only use the included charger to power and charge the Car DVR.
- Once the Car DVR is securely installed on your vehicle’s windscreen, plug the charger into your vehicle’s cigarette lighter
- Run the cable along your vehicle’s console and windscreen and plug the USB Micro plug into the Car DVR.
Note:
- It’s recommended that the car DVR is installed behind your vehicle’s rear view monitor.
- Make sure that the camera view is not obstructed by a window tint or any other objects.
Auto Power On/Off
The power cable takes power from the ACC, and the camera will automatically
turn on and record for about 10 seconds after the car is started; When the car
is turned off, the device will automatically save the current recording and
then shut down.
Manual Power On/Off
Press the once, the screen will light up and power on; Long press the for
about 3 seconds and release the button to shut down.
Operating Modes
The camera has three operating modes: Video mode, Photo mode, and Playback mode. When the camera is in standby mode, Long press to switch between three modes.
Video mode
- The device will automatically start recording after the car is started, and the red recording icon will flash in the upper left corner of the screen during recording.
- During the recording process, press [OK] once to stop recording, and the camera will be in standby mode; press the [OK] again can resume recording
- During recording, press the once, and the display of the front and back cameras can be switched.
Photo mode
- When in standby, Long press to switch to Photo Mode.
- Take a photo: Point the camera at the subject, press the [OK] , and a photo will be taken.
- Users can enter the Photo Mode menu to select different photo parameters with their demand, take photos or perform other operations.
Playback mode
- When in standby, Long press to switch to Playback Mode.
- In playback mode, short press , to select a file, press [OK] to play the selected file, and then press [OK] to pause playback.
- In playback mode, when the playback is stopped, press to enter the playback mode menu. In this menu, you can delete and protect the files, and you can also choose a slide show; and then press [OK] to stop playback.
- In the playback mode, press the to switch to the video mode when the playback is stopped; in the playback mode, short press to stop the playback.
Mode Menu Settings and System Settings
- In the video mode and standby mode, short press once to enter the the homepage of setting menu, and short press twice to enter the system setting screen. Short press , to select the options which need to be set.
Note: Mode menu settings and system settings should be done in the standby state of the device.
**Recording Mode
**
Resolution (4K+ FHD P25/ QHD+FHD P30/ FHD P30+FHD P30)
- In the main menu of the Recording Mode, press to adjust to the “Resolution”, when its background color turns blue, press the [OK].
- Short press , to choose the resolution, and press [OK] to confirm.
- Short press the to return to the homepage of the VIDEO mode.
Loop Recording (Off/ 1 Minute/ 2 Minutes/ 3 Minutes)
In the main menu of the Recording Mode, press to adjust to the “Loop
Recording”, when its background color turns blue, press the [OK].
- Press , to choose the recording time, and press [OK] to confirm.
Note: If the time is set to 3 minutes, then when the video is looped, the duration of each video will be 3 minutes.
Exposure Comp
(-1/3, -2/3, -1.0, -4/3, -5/3, -2.0, +0.0 +1/3, +2/3, +1.0, +4/3, + 5/3,+2.0)
- In the main menu of the Recording Mode, press to adjust to the “Exposure Comp”, when its background color turns blue, press [OK].
- After entering the EV value, you can set the EV value between -2 and +2, and press the [OK] to confirm.
Note:
When the light is dark, the EV value (exposure compensation) should be
increased to increase the amount of light, and when the light is strong, the
value should be decreased to reduce the amount of light.
Motion Detection (Off/ On)
- In the main menu of the Recording Mode, press to switch to the “Motion Detection”, when its background color turns blue, press the [OK].
- Press, to adjust to the option that needs to be set, and press [OK] to confirm.
Note:
When this function is turned on, the camera will automatically start and stop
recording according to the movement of the object during the recording
Record Audio (Off/ On)
In the main menu of the Recording Mode, press to switch to the “Record Audio”, when its background color turns blue, press the [OK] confirmation key.
- Press , to adjust to the option that needs to be set, and press [OK] to confirm.
G-sensor (Off/ Low/ Medium/ High)
- In the main menu of the Recording Mode, press to adjust to the sensitivity option, when its background color turns blue, press [OK] to confirm.
- Press and to adjust to the option which needs to be set, and press [OK] to confirm.
Note:
This function adjusts the sensitivity of the machine to automatically lock the
image during video recording. Automatically locking the image when the high
sensitivity is set may cause the memory card to be full and not loop
recording.
WiFi (Off/ On)
- In the main menu of the Recording Mode, press to adjust to the “WiFi” option, when its background color turns blue, press [OK] to confirm.
- Press and to adjust to the option which needs to be set, and press [OK] to confirm.
Photo Mode
Resolution
(10M 3648×2736/ 8M 3264×2448/ 5M 2992×1696/ 3M 2048×1536/ VGA 640×480)
- In the main menu of the photo mode, press to adjust to the “Resolution” option, when its background color turns blue, press the [OK].
- Press and to adjust to the option that needs to be set, and press [OK] to confirm.
Exposure Comp
(-1/3, -2/3, -1.0, -4/3, -5/3, -2.0, +0.0 +1/3, +2/3, +1.0, +4/3, + 5/3,+2.0)
- In the main menu of the Photo Mode, press to adjust to the “Exposure Comp”, when its background color turns blue, press [OK].
- After entering the EV value, you can set the EV value between -2 and +2, and press the [OK] to confirm.
Note:
When the light is dark, the EV value (exposure compensation) should be
increased to increase the amount of light, and when the light is strong, the
value should be decreased to reduce the amount of light.
Date Stamp (Off; Date; Date/time)
- In the main menu of the Photo Mode, press switch the “Date Stamp” option. When the background color of the date label turns blue, press [OK] to confirm.
- Press and keys to adjust to the option that needs to be set, and press [OK] to confirm.
Note: When the tag of the selected date is closed, the watermark of the photo will not be displayed
Delete (Delete Current/ Delete All)
- In the Playback Mode, press to enter the main menu.
- In the Playback Mode menu, press the “Delete” option, when its background color turns blue, press [OK].
- Press to choose to delete current or all, and press [Cancel] / [OK] to confirm.
Note: If you want to delete a video, you must unlock it. Because locked files cannot be deleted.
Protect (Lock Current / Unlock Current / Lock All / Unlock All)
- In the Playback Mode, press to enter the playback mode menu.
- In the playback mode menu, press to switch the project, when its background color turns blue, press [OK] to confirm.
- Press to select choose one, and press [OK] to confirm.
System Setting: In the standby mode, press twice to enter the menu of System Setting.
Date/ Time ( 2021/11/18 10:30:21 YY/MM/DD)
- Setting the Time and Date allows you to stamp your footage with the time as a reference.
- In the System Setting Menu, press to enter slide show, when its background color turns blue, press [OK] to confirm.
- Press, to adjust the Year, then short press to confirm, and press [OK] to confirm after the adjustment is complete.
- After entering the date/time setting, press to adjust the Year/ Month/ Day/ Hour/ Minute/ Second in turn.
- After adjustment, return to the system setting screen, press [OK] to return to the system setting page, and then press to return to the video recording mode homepage.
Language: (English/ Français / Español / Português / Deutsch / Italiano / 简体中文/ 繁體中文/ р усский / 日本語)
- In the System Setting Menu, press to switch to the “Language” option, when the background color of the language setting changes to blue, press [OK].
- After entering the language setting, press to set simplified English or other languages, and press [OK] to confirm.
Frequency (50Hz/ 60Hz)
- In the System Setting Menu, press to adjust to the “Frequency” option, when the background color of the Frequency turns blue, press [OK] to confirm.
- After entering the light source frequency, you can choose 50Hz/ 60Hz, and press the [OK] to confirm.
Note: This function is set to eliminate the flickering or ripple problem of the light on the video screen.
Screen Save (Off/ 1 Minute/ 3 Minutes/ 5 Minutes/ 10 Minutes)
- In the System Setting Menu, press to select the setting options of the screen saver, when its background color turns blue, press the [OK].
- After entering the screen saver, you can choose one, and press [OK] to confirm.
Note: When set to “Off”, the screen of the machine will remain on during the video recording; When set to “1” minute, the screen will automatically turn off after 1 minute, but the camera is still recording.
Beep Sound (Off/ On)
- In the System Setting Menu, press to switch to the “Motion Detection”, when its background color turns blue, press the [OK].
- Press , to adjust to the option that needs to be set, and press [OK] to confirm.
Format (Cancel/OK)
- In the System Setting Menu, press to switch to the “Format” option, when the format background color turns blue, press [OK] to confirm.
- Display the memory card options, press [OK] to confirm, and then press to select cancel or confirm.
- After selecting and confirming, press [OK] to confirm, and the memory card will be formatted.
Note: This function will delete all images and photos on the memory card, please operate with caution.
Default Setting (cancel/OK)
- In the System Setting Menu, press to adjust to the Default setting option, when the background color of the factory setting changes to blue, press [OK] to confirm.
- Choose cancel or confirm, press [OK] to confirm, and the machine will restore the factory default settings when confirming.
Version (Software NO.)
- In the system setting menu, press to adjust to the version information. When its background color turns blue, press the [OK] to see the software version NO.
Playing Back Video On a PC
- This camera supports USB Reading. When you want to see the videos recorded by the camera, you can connect the camera and the computer through the USB cable directly.
- Or take out the SD card and use a reader to see its videos. It is recommended that you transfer video files that you want to playback to a file on your computer before attempting to playback. This will reduce any delay in playback.
Connecting camera to PC
◆ After the SD card is inserted into the camera, connect it to the computer
with a USB
cable. At this time, two options will appear on the camera’s screen:
1 Storage: A removable disk will appear on the computer, and the device will
enter U
disk mode. In this mode, the recorded files can be copied or cut to the
computer for
playback.
② Camera: The camera can be used as a PC CAM.
Note:
Connect to the computer via a USB cable. The output voltage of the USB
interface of some computers is insufficient, which will cause the camera’s
screen to flicker. Some computer systems do not support this function, such as
Windows 7 64-bit, or Windows 8 and above.
FAQ
Under normal operating conditions, if the product appears problem, please refer to the following solution:

No videos
Check whether the TF card has enough space or is locked. -
When recording, it stops automatically
Due to the huge video data, please use the SDHC-compatible high-speed TF card and the identification of the high-speed TF card with C10. -
The image was foggy
Please check the lens if with dirt and finger marks; before shooting, clean the lens paper. -
When shooting the sky, water, and other scenes, the image is very dark.
The automatic exposure function of the camera will be affected in large contrast scenes, which can be corrected by adjusting the “EV” value in the setting Menu. -
Horizontal stripe interference in the image
This is caused by setting the wrong light frequency. Please set it to “50Hz” or “60Hz” according to the local power supply frequency. -
The Car DVR crashed
When the Car DVR crashes, please press the reset key to resume restart.
