Learn where the serial number is for your HomePod or HomePod mini. You might need it when you register or if you need support.

The serial number is on the bottom of HomePod and HomePod mini.

Check the Home app

1. Open the Home app on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac.1
2. On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, press and hold HomePod. On Mac, double-click HomePod.
3. Scroll down to see the serial number.

Check iCloud settings

1. On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, go to Settings > [Your name].2

2. Scroll down and tap HomePod to see the serial number.

3. To use the Home app on Mac, update your Mac to macOS Mojave or later.

4. Make sure that your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch is signed in to iCloud with the Apple ID that you used to set up your HomePod.
