GIGA M SM-1000S Wireless Gigaphone
Safety Precautions
Please read all safety precautions before using your gigaphone to ensure safe
and proper use.
Your gigaphone contains a rechargeable Li-Polymer battery. Failure to read and
follow below instructions before using or charging the Li-Polymer battery may
result in a fire, personal injury and damage to property if charged or used
improperly.
- Never disassemble, modify, puncture, mechanically shock, or short circuit the device and battery for any reason. Doing this may cause the device to malfunction or become combustible.
- Avoid exposing your device to the very cold or hot area (below O’C or above 40’C). Extreme temp. can cause deformation of the device and reduce the charging capacity and life of your device.
- Never let the battery come into contact with moisture or water
- Never charge the battery in humid or hot areas. It can cause serious damage.
- Do not use the device during a thunderstorm. Thunderstorms can cause the device to malfunction and increase the risk of electric shock.
- Use only approved chargers/AC adapters to recharge. Unauthorized chargers/ AC adapters may cause an explosion or damage to the device.
- Li-Poly battery is a consumable part and will gradually wear out while charging or discharging.
- Never overcharge the battery. Unplug the charger/ AC adapter when the battery is fully charged.
- Keep the battery fully charged every 6 months even if you are not using the device.
- Always store the device in a safe and nonflammable container and keep your device away from an open flame or heater.

Using SM-1000s
Turning power on I off
Press ‘POWER’ button for 1 “2 sec. (Battery status is displayed on LCD while
turned on)
Adjusting volume
Turn the ‘VOL’ knob to right towards’+’ for up and left towards·-· for down.
Connecting microphone
- Direct connection : Plug a microphone into ‘MIC IN’.
- Wireless connection : See ‘Using MG77’.
Connecting External Devices
Connect various external devices such as additional amplifier/speaker,
smartphone and more to your Gigaphone using ‘LIN E our and ‘AUX IN’.
Charging battery
Ensure that the battery is fully charged before using for the first time.
- Connect the charger/ AC adapter to the device.
- While charging, battery level blinks from Oto 4 bars on LCD.
- When fully charged, blinking stops with 4 bars displayed.
- Unplug the charger/AC adapter immediately to prevent overheating.
Battery can be charged while using your gigaphone.

Using MG77
By plugglng a microphone Into MG77, SM-1 ooos becomes a wireless microphone system.
Turning power on I off
Slide up the power switch to turn on & down to turn off. While turned on, the
battery status LED stays on.(High = Green, Middle= Orange, Low= Red)
Connecting with SM-10005

Turn on both SM-10005 and MG77 for automatic connection.

The wireless connection LED (MG77) lights up in green and O icon appears on the LCD (SM-10005) indicating connection is made. (May take a few seconds.)
If connection is unstable or have a new MG77, follow below steps to reset. -
[SM-10005] Push WPB (@) with a clip and press POWER until O icon blinks.

[MG77] Press WPB (@) and turn power on. When the connection LED starts to blink in red (©). press WPB again.

Reset is completed when the LED light changes to solid green.
Adjusting Microphone Volume
- Press ‘A’ or ‘v’ buttons to adjust volume.
- To mute and unmute microphone, press ‘MU’. When it’s on mute, the wireless connection LED blinks in green and red.
Charging MG77
- When battery is low, the battery status LED blinks in red.
- When fully charged, the LED changes to solid green.
Using microphones
i-set mic

Assembling i-set
Slide in the rigid part (i-set mic logo printed part) to the band’s holder.
The logo should be visible when assembled. -
Wearing your i-set
[ Wearing on ears]
Wear it on ears and adjust mic to a desired position.
[ wearing around neck]
Turn i-set band upside down and wear on your neck and adjust mic to a desired position.
For the best performance, mic and mouth should be about 1-2 cm apart.
To avoid howling, face the mic head upward.

Wear ear-set microphone on your left ear and adjust the MIC unit closer to
mouth.
