Screw Installation

Remove Mounting Bracket from Water Sensor
• Remove the Mounting Bracket (CC) from the Water Sensor (AA) by gently pulling on the Mounting Bracket (CC) until it is completely detached from the Water Sensor (AA). -
Install Mounting Bracket with Screws
• Allow enough distance from the ground to give room for the Leak Sensor (BB) to lay on the floor where water may leak
• Position the Mounting Bracket (CC) against a wall. Mark screw position with a pencil.
NOTE: You can skip this next step if installing on wood or siding.
• Drill a hole at the marked point if installed on surfaces such as concrete, brick, or drywall. Insert Mounting Anchor (GG) into the hole.
• Position the Leak Sensor Port to point down.
• Use the Mounting Screw (FF) to attach the Mounting Bracket (CC) to the wall. -
Insert Battery or Remove Tag
• Remove the Water Sensor (AA) lid by turning it counterclockwise. Lift lid open to the access battery compartment.
• Insert 3.0V CR2 Lithium Battery (EE) or remove the tag if 3.0V CR2 Lithium Battery (EE) is already present.
• Turn on the Water Sensor (AA) by pushing on the RESET button.
• Follow the steps in the APP Setup on page 6.
• Place the lid back on the Water Sensor (AA) aligning the assembly marks together. Close the lid by turning it clockwise. -
Attach Leak Sensor and Water Sensor to Mounting Bracket
• Attach the Leak Sensor (BB) plug to the Mounting Bracket (CC) port.
• Attach the Water Sensor (AA) to the Mounting Bracket (CC) by aligning the Water Sensor (AA) pins with the Mounting Brackets (CC) contacts and gently pushing the Water Sensor (AA) until it locks in place.
• Place the Leak Sensor (BB) flat on the ground to detect leaks.
Adhesive Installation

Remove Mounting Bracket from Water Sensor
• Remove the Mounting Bracket (CC) from the Water Sensor (AA) by gently pulling on the Mounting Bracket (CC) until it completely detaches from the Water Sensor (AA). -
Install Mounting Bracket with Double-Sided Tape
• Clean the mounting area thoroughly (surface must be free of dust, dirt, or grease).
• Stick Double-Sided Tape (DD) to the backside of the Mounting Bracket (CC).
• Allow enough distance from the ground to give room for the Leak Sensor (BB) to lay on the floor where water may leak.
• Position the Leak Sensor port to point down.
• Peel the Double-Sided Tape (DD) and place the Mounting Bracket (CC) on a flat surface. -
Insert Battery or Remove Tag
• Remove the Water Sensor (AA) lid by turning it counterclockwise. Lift lid open to the access battery compartment.
• Insert 3. OV CR2 Lithium Battery (EE) or remove the tag if 3. OV CR2 Lithium Battery (EE) is already present.
• Turn on the Water Sensor (AA) by pushing on the RESET button.
• Follow the steps in the APP Setup on page 6.
• Place the lid back on the Water Senso (AA) aligning the assembly marks together. Close the lid by turning it clockwise. -
Attach Leak Sensor and Water Sensor to Mounting Bracket
• Attach the Leak Sensor (BB) plug to the Mounting Bracket (CC) port.
• Attach the Water Sensor (M) to the Mounting Bracket (CC) by aligning the Water Sensor (AA) pins with the Mounting Brackets (CC) contacts and gently pushing the Water Sensor (AA) until it locks in place.
• Place the Leak Sensor (BB) flat on the ground to detect leaks.
APP Setup
Download and install the Feit Electric app
- Search for the Fort Electric app in the APO Store or Google Flay Store.
- Download and install the Felt Electric app on your smart device.
Set up the smart water sensor using the Feit Electric app
Check to be sure the Sensor is in pairing mode. The SLUE indicator light must be blinking rapidly to connect. If not already Oinking. press and hold the Reset button for five seconds. Use the Fee Electric app to complete the setup.
- Tap Add Devito or tho + sign. then select Sensor and confirm. You will be prompted to enter your WI-Fl network and password.
Be sure Connet to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network that covered your installation location.

Troubleshooting Tips
If you are having difficulty connecting:
- Make sure the Wi-H network is a 2.4 GHz network. Smart Water Sensor will not connect to a 5 GHz network.
- Test your Wi-Fi network with other devices such as your phone to make sure it is operating properly.
- The Wi-Fi connection may not have good coverage during setup. Try moving the Smart Water Sensor closer to your Wi-H router.
- Your Wi-Fi network password is case sensitive, make sure you are entering it correctly.
