Thank you for purchasing the Sharper Image Portable Gym. Please take a few moments to read this guide and store it for future reference.
INTRODUCTION
The Sharper Image Portable Gym gives you a robust workout for your arms, legs,
core, and other muscle groups in the comfort and privacy of your home. The
adjustable resistance bands make it ideal for users of all fitness levels to
support a healthy, active lifestyle.
SET-UP
STEP 1: Unfold the base. Be careful not to pinch fingers. (Photo A)
STEP 2: Connect resistance bands to the locks on the base.
NOTE: There are 5 locks on each side to adjust the tension of the
resistance bands. (Photo B)
STEP 3: Put the straps on your ankles or wrists. (Photo C)
STEP 4: Connect and tighten the 2 workout bars. (Photo D)
STEP 5: Stand on the base. (Photo E)
STEP 6: Using the workout guide below, you can stretch and exercise the
muscles you wish to target. (Photo F)
STEP 7: Adjust the tension by routing the resistance band through more or
fewer locks. (Resistance bands cross the locks to increase tension). (Photo
G)
STEP 8: When your workout is over, slide the base under a bed or sofa for
easy storage. (Photo H)

BASE + RESISTANCE BANDS + STRAPS
- Boxing (Photo 1)
- Back Neck Stretch (Photo 2)

BASE + RESISTANCE BANDS + WORKOUT BARS
- Ab Twister (Photo 6)
- Upright Thrust (Photo 7)
- Half Squat (Photo 8)
- Overhead Lift (Photo 9)
- One-Handed Rowing ( Photo 10)
DOOR ANCHOR + RESISTANCE BANDS + HANDLES
- Secure the door anchor to a sturdy door or door frame. (Photo I)
- Attach the resistance bands to the handles. (Photo J)
- Use the resistance bands and handles to stretch and exercise the arms, shoulders, back, and core. (Photos K, L M, N)
SAFETY WARNINGS
- Be sure to secure the resistance bands to the base. Improper installation could lead to injury.
- Before using the door anchor, be sure that the door and doorframe are sturdy enough to support this exercise. Be sure the door does not swing toward you. Improper use could lead to injury.
- Please check this item for having holes, tears, or damage. If the resistance bands have holes or tears, do not use them. Contact Sharper Image Customer Service immediately.
- Consult with your doctor or physician before using any at-home exercise equipment. If you feel dizzy or nauseous during your workout, is continue use and contact your doctor or physician immediately.
