OVERVIEW
The CONNECT RX200N is a wireless DMX/RDM receiver that uses LumenRadio CRMX technology (2.4GHz). This system allows the users to connect to DMX/RDM enabled fixtures wirelessly, several tens meters away from a CRMX transmitter. CONNECT RX200N can receive an entire DMX universe (512 channels).
CONTROL
POWER SUPPLY
The CONNECT RX200N is powered from the 2.1×5.5mm DCJack connector. When powered, the red «POWER» indicator turns on.
Input Voltage: From +4.5Vdc to +26Vdc
Typical working voltage:
- 5Vdc for USB battery powering (using USB-DCjack cord provided with the device)
- 14.8Vdc for V-mount battery powering (using DTAP-DCjack cord provided with the device)
Powering the system out of this range can cause malfunctions and the destruction of the product.
DCjack cord locking system:
The CONNECT RX200N is provided with an adhesive cable mount and zip ties. You can lock the cable with a zip tie to avoid unintentional cord disconnection.
DMX/RDM OUTPUT
The CONNECT RX200N is designed for DMX/RDM equipment. The signal received from
the radio emitter is forwarded to the XLR5, with the standard
pinout (1:Ground / 2:Data- / 3:Data+).
The blue indicator «DMX» turns on when a DMX signal is received and output on the XLR5.
LINKING WITH TRANSMITTER
It is necessary to link the RX200N to an emitter following this procedure:
– Make sure all devices to be paired are powered.
– Start the linking procedure by pressing the dedicated button on the emitter.
– During the linking period (10s), the DMX signal is not transmitted. Any
unlinked CONNECT RX200N in range will automatically link to the emitter. If a
CONNECT RX200N is linked to an emitter, the blue «LINK» indicator turns on
(even if the transmitter is off).
Several receivers CONNECT RX200N can be linked to the same emitter during a single procedure.
UNLINKING RECEIVERS
At any time, it is possible to reset the configuration of the receiver by unlinking from the emitter. To do so, press the «UNLINK» button for 3 seconds until the «LINK» indicator turns off.
RADIO
The antenna is manually adjustable (±90°). Take care not to exceed over this angle. The antenna is not removable.
A three-level gauge provides feedback on the radio signal strength. In order to optimize the radio communication, it is also recommended to install the transmitters and receivers in open spaces, without large metallic objects. It is also recommended to place the antennas as described in the following image.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Proper use:
This unit is designed to control any DMX or DMX/RDM equipment. Use the device
