Thank you for purchasing the Sharper Image Glow-in-the-Dark Nano RC Helicopter. This is one of our smallest and most popular RC toys. Please take a moment to read this guide and get acquainted with its many features. Be sure to store this guide for future reference.

BATTERY INSTALLATION

  1. Open battery cover in the direction of the arrow.

  2. Properly install four 1.5V AA batteries (not included).

  3. Replace battery cover.
    (Note: Always use fresh, new batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries.)

CHARGING YOUR NANO RC CHOPPER

  1. Insert one end of the USB cable into the Nano RC Chopper.

  2. Plug the other end into a USB port on your computer.
    Note: You may also use a phone charging adapter if you have one, and plug it into an AC outlet. (Adapter not included.)

  3. There is a red LED on the charging cable. When the LED is off, the chopper is charging. When the LED is illuminated, the chopper is fully charged.

  4. Charging time is approximately 25 minutes.

  1. Turn on the chopper power switch. The color-changing LED will light up.

  2. Turn on the transmitter power switch.

  3. To sync the transmitter with the Nano RC Chopper, push the throttle from maximum to minimum. When the frequency is detected, the chopper will be ready to fly.

  4. The A/B switch is for 2 players flying simultaneously.
    If two players are flying simultaneously, one must be on channel A, and the other must be on channel B.

  5. If the Nano RC Chopper pulls to one side, use the the “L” and “R” fine tuning buttons to make it fly straight.

  6. See illustrations at right for flying instructions.
    NOTE: After you finish flying the Nano RC Chopper, please wait 15 minutes before recharging it.

DEMO MODE

Once the Nano RC Chopper is synced, press the “AUTO” button for a brief demonstration.
The Nano RC Chopper will fly forward/backward/turn left/turn right 3 times.

FLYING TIPS AND WARNINGS

  • THIS CHOPPER HAS SMALL PARTS THAT CAN DETACH AND BECOME A CHOKING HAZARD. THIS TOY IS NOT FOR CHILDREN UNDER 3 YEARS OLD.
  • For indoor use only.
  • Do not fly near people or animals.
  • Do not fly this chopper near streets or airfields.
  • Do not touch vehicle while it is flying.
  • Handle the chopper with care.
  • Adult supervision is required at all times if young children are present.
