Warnings and Advice
- Do not place the radio close to naked flames, such as lighted candles.
- Keep away from dripping or splashed fluids.
- The unit should not be exposed to direct sunlight, very high or low temperatures, moisture, strong magnetic fields, high frequencies and dusty environments.
- Do not use abrasives, benzene, thinner or other solvents to clean the surface of the unit. To clean, wipe with a clean soft cloth it and a mild detergent solution.
- Never attempt to insert wires, pins or other such objects into the vents or openings of the unit.
- Do not disassemble or modify the radio, there are no user serviceable parts.
- If the radio is damaged or malfunctions do not use. Consult a qualified service engineer.

Introduction
Your new radio receives FM radio stations. It is supplied with a power adaptor for mains powering and can also be powered by 4 x AA batteries (not supplied) if you wish to make it portable.

Operation
Getting started
The radio is powered either by the AC/DC power adaptor supplied plugged into a mains socket and then connected to the DC power socket (16)on the back of the radio. Alternatively you can fit 4 x AA batteries into the battery compartment (15). When fitting batteries make sure their polarity matches the markings in the battery compartment.
Setting the clock
While still in Standby long press the CLOCK button (3) and turn the TUNING Dial (2) to select 24 Hr or 12 Hr clock setting. Press CLOCK (3) again the hour digits will flash use the TUNING Dial (2) to set the correct hour. Press CLOCK (3) again and using the TUNING Dial (2) select the minutes then press CLOCK (3).
Before using your radio for the first time fully extend the antenna (14).
FM Station Scanning
Press the Standby button (10) to switch on your radio long press the Scan button (9) to start scanning for FM stations automatically. Up to twenty stations will be stored into presets.
Manually Storing FM Preset Stations
Rotate the TUNING dial (2) to tune to an FM radio station, long press the PRESET button (8), rotate the TUNING dial (2) to select one of the twenty available preset positions, press the PRESET button (8) and the station will be stored to the preset number selected.
Preset Recall:
Press the PRESET button (8) to view the presets available, use the TUNING DIAL (2) to scroll through the available presets. Alternatively press the PRESET button (8) repeatedly.
Alarm/Snooze
Alarm Setting: To set ALARM1 Long press the AL 1 button (4), the hour
digits will flash, use the TUNING DIAL (2) to set the hour. Press AL 1 (4)
again and rotate the Tuning Dial (2) to select the minutes then press AL 1 (4)
again, rotate the TUNING dial (2) to choose “buz” (buzzer) or “tun”
(radio) as your alarm, press AL 1 (4) again, rotate the TUNING dial (2) to
select the alarm volume (for buzzer or radio), press AL 1 (4) and rotate the
TUNING dial (2) to choose OFF/ON then press AL 1 (4) a final time to set the
alarm. Please note if you set the radio as your alarm the current station
selected will play.
To set ALARM2 repeat the above sequence using the AL 2.
Alarm Off: To stop the alarm press AL 1 (4) or AL 2 (5).
Snooze: Alternatively press the SNOOZE button (6) to delay the alarm by 9 minutes.
Sleep Function
Press the SLEEP button (7) to set the radio to switch off after 10 minutes, press repeatedly to select alternative periods of 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 minutes or OFF.
Other Features
Tuning -1+ dial (2): To manually tune radio stations turn the dial
clockwise to select higher frequency radio stations and anticlockwise to tune
to lower frequency radion stations.
Volume -1+ dial (11): Turn clockwise to increase volume, anticlockwise to
reduce volume.
