Initial operation:
Important
Before you connect the adapter to the device or the mains, ensure that the output voltage (V), output current (mA) and the terminal poles are correct for he device being used.
Output voltage (V)
Check first what output voltage the device to be connected requires. Then set the arrow on the yellow selection switch on the device‘s lower surface to the required voltage. The control elements on the device‘s lower surface ensure that the voltage cannot be changed when in mains operation. If the voltage is set too high, this may cause a defect or permanent damage to the connected device.
Output current (mA)
Ensure that the connected device does not consume more electricity than the adapter‘s maximum current allows. If the maximum current load is exceeded, the adapter may become permanently damaged due to overload. Use the following table to find the maximum current that the individual models in this range can transmit at different voltages.
Polarity
You will find the correct polarity for your device in the device manufacturer‘s operating instructions or in the embossed diagram on the device‘s mains coupling. Now select the appropriate connector plug for the device. You have the following 9 plug sizes to choose from:
2.5 mm / 3.5 mm / 5.0 x 1.0 mm / 5.5 x 2.5 mm / 3.5 x 1.35 mm / 5.5 x 1.5 mm / 4.0 x 1.7 mm / 2.35 x 0.75 mm / USB A connector
The polarity is indicated on either side of the connector (diagram below).
After selecting the right polarity, insert the connector into the adapter
connection coupling, so that the arrows point to one another.
