Instruction manual to connect and use the WiFi function of the TOYOTOMI Heater
- On the smart phone download and install the application “Smart Life”.

Register Account: The first time you use the “Smart Life” application you will need to register an account.
i. Click the “Sign Up” button and accept the User Agreement.
ii. Enter you email address and click “Get Verification Code”.
iii. Enter the verification code that was sent to the email address.
iv. Set password and click “Done” to finish registration. You will be logged in to the app.
*If you log out of the app, you can log in by clicking the “Log in” button and entering the email address and password created during registration. -
Add a new device: Press add device or “+” symbol in the upper right corner, then select the type of device. The device must be connected to a WiFi network.
Note: “Auto Scan” cannot used.
Select Small Home Appliances
Then select “Heater” -
On the stove, turn the stove off first, then press and hold the SET button for 5 seconds. The WiFi LED should blinks at a range of about 2 times per second. It could take about 10 seconds to start to blink of the releasing button. If press and hold the SET button again for 5 seconds, WiFi LED blinks approximately once every 3 seconds.

There are two ways to connect to the stove, the Automatic mode (also known as Easy mode) and the Access Point mode (also known as AP mode). The modes are described below:
a. EZ mode (WiFi LED blinks approximately 2 times per second):
i. Press “Confirm indicator rapidly blink” and “Next” on the phone.
ii. Select the WiFi connection network, enter its password and confirm.
iii. The stove will automatically connect to the WiFi network. iv. If the connection was successful, you can rename the device and use it with other appliances within the “Smart Life” app.
b. AP Mode (WiFi LED blinks approximately once every 3 seconds):
i. Press “AP Mode” in the upper right corner of the screen.
ii. Select the connection WiFi network, enter the password and confirm.
iii. Select the device called “SmartLife-xxxx” or “SL-xxxx” in the Wlan setting, then go back to the APP interface and it will connect automatically. iv. If the connection was successful, you can name the device and share it with other users within your family in “Smart Life”.
In case the connection is not successful, try the previous steps again paying attention to what connection mode the stove is in (approximate flashes per second of the WiFi LED). 6. Use and functions of the application: -
Used to turn the stove on and off. Mode: Used to change the operating mode of the stove. Settings: It is used to change the configuration of your equipment (and make the programming of the weekly timer).
– Key: Change to the lower the desired temperature in the room.
+ Key: Change to raise the desired temperature in the room. -
Operating modes: Normal: The stove will stop burning when detect that it exceeded the ambient temperature desired by the user. Weekly Timer: The stove will operate in weekly timer mode.

Setting mode: Power Saver: Activate to save electric consumption. Child Lock: Activate the child lock on the stove. Weekly Timer: Open the programs of weekly timer. Temperature symbol: Change the stove temperature symbol °C or °F. Go to: Access to web site for TOYOTOMI U.S.A.

Programming the Weekly timer: To set the weekly stove schedule, it must be setting each day of the week and each day of the week has four programs.

Setting the program of weekly timer: Touch the day of the week and program number, select the time and temperature. Time: Setting the time for operate the weekly timer in program. Temperature (°F): Setting the temperature for operate the weekly timer in program.
Note: When select “OFF” in the temperature, weekly timer dose not work until next program time but heater is still working. The temperature is continue to current the set temperature.
