Record Player Operation Vertical Wall Mounting

Turnable-02 Note: The record player must be installed 90° upright in order for the device to work correctly.
  1. Hold the turntable against the wall where you want to place it.
  2. Mark the middle of the turntable at the top with adhesive tape and set the turntable aside.
  3. Place a mark 5.25″ (13.3cm) down from the adhesive tape.
  4. Hold the wall bracket so that the top edge of the wall bracket is on the mark.
  5. Mark the locations for the holes on the wall. The markings should correspond to the openings on the wall bracket.
  6. Drill the holes at the marked locations on the wall (1/4″ drill).
  7. Insert the four dowels into the holes. The open end of the dowels must be flush with the wall surface.
  8. Tighten the wall bracket with four wall screws.
  9. Hang the turntable vertically on the mounted wall bracket.

Turntable Operation

  1. Turn the ON/OFF knob to switch the device ON.
  2. Adjust the phono speed knob to the correct speed (33 or 45 RPM) for the selected record size.
  3. Remove the magnetic record holder, lightly place a record on the turntable, and put the magnetic record holder back in place.
  4. Remove the stylus protector.
  5. Release the tonearm lock and lift it with the lever.
  6. Place the tonearm over the record where you want it to start playing.
  7. Move the tonearm lever to the lowest position. The tonearm will slowly lower onto the record automatically.
  8. Use the volume knob to adjust the preferred volume.
    Please note: The arm automatically stops at the end of a record.

Bluetooth® Operation

  1. Turn on Bluetooth® device. It will appear as “Brookstone Record Player” when it is recognized by the turntable’s Bluetooth®.

  2. No password is necessary to pair the turntable and the Bluetooth® device.
    Note: When successfully paired, you will hear a short beep from the speakers.

  3. Control your Bluetooth® device as usual while the sound is played through the turntable.
    Note: Make sure your Bluetooth® device is within 33ft. of the turntable. Only one device can be connected to the turntable at a time. Ensure that no other devices are connected to the turntable when you are trying to connect.

  4. Control the volume using the turntable volume knob or wirelessly through your Bluetooth® device.

BT Reset

  • Press the BT Reset button once to stop the current device.
  • Press the BT Reset button twice to restore the unit to its initial state.

Line Out and AUX Operation
Use the Line Out jacks to connect the turntable to a stereo system or recording device. Simply connect the Line Out-cable to the left and right outputs from the turntable to other inputs on your stereo system. Use the Line Out to AUX jack cable to connect to other systems with an AUX jack input. The turntable can also be connected to other devices such as smartphones, tablets, or MP3 players using the included 3.5mm AUX cable as an external music player.

Replacing The Stylus
Under normal use, the stylus (needle) will last, however, it is recommended that the stylus be replaced as soon as you notice a change in sound quality. Prolonged use of a worn-out stylus may damage the record.

CAUTION

  • Do not remove or bend the stylus.
  • To avoid injury, do not touch the needle.
  • Turn off the unit’s power before you replace the stylus.
  • Keep out of the reach of children.

Removing an old stylus

  1. Set a screwdriver at the tip of the stylus and push down to the direction “A”.
  2. Pull the stylus out toward direction “B”

Installing a new stylus

  1. Hold the tip of the stylus and insert the other edge by pressing toward direction “C”.
  2. Push the stylus up toward direction “D” until it locks at the tip.

This warranty is void if:

  • The power supply cord or plug is damaged
  • Liquid has been spilled or if objects have fallen inside
  • The device has been exposed to rain or water
  • The device is dropped or damaged in any way

This warranty does not cover cosmetic damage or damage caused by an accident, misuse, abuse, negligence, or modification in any way.
