Quick Start Installation Guide (See TEC1ACL Installer Guide for Safety Warnings)

  • Power: DO NOT USE AC TRANSFORMER. A 12 VDC/2A power supply is supplied and should be wired to DC input marked on the back box terminal block. Internal power connection from the terminal block to P1 connector on PCB is factory installed. If installer chooses, at his own risk, not to use the power supply provided, warranty is voided.
  • Ground: The TEC1ACL Ground Stud MUST be connected using a minimum #16 ga. stranded wire connected to a good earth ground using e.g. a ground rod or cold water pipe. The maximum ground wire length is 50 feet. If an adequate earth ground is not provided, surge damage protection built into TEC1ACL series units diminishes and voids the warranty.
  • Telephone: RJ‐11 plug and cable for dial‐out phone from Cellular Interface Module (Factory installed).Connect to TE‐TE on P1.
  • Relays: Two (2) relays with both (N/O) and (N/C). Maximum rating each contact 24 volts AC/DC at 2A. Connect using NC/COM/NO NC/COM/NO on P1A
  • Rex (Request to Exit) Inputs: The RX1 and RX2 are VOLT‐FREE (dry) contacts. Connect using RX1‐COM‐RX2 on P1.
