Preparation content

• AvatarControls APP [Also compatible with the “smart life” app)
• AvatarControls APP account [ users need to register their own account)
• Smart plug
• Press and hold the button for 5s until indicator light quickly blinks.
• 2.4 GHz WiFi environment [turn off 5GHz)
• Turn on Bluetooth [just to facilitate addition of smart plug connect to network fast)

Add device

Download AvatarControls APP

• Please download AvatarControls APP first:
  
  

• Please scan the OR Code, or get AvatarControls downloaded from App Store, Android Market.

Register an account in AvatarControls

• Open AvatarControls into account registration page, click on the”Register”
  

• At the registration page, select your region and enter the email to create a new account.

• After successful registration, you can add device on your App now.

Add devices ( Smart plug)

Method 1 – Add Manually:

1. Confirm the Bluetooth of smartphone is on.
2. Login in to Avatar Controls app, click on”+”
3. Click ” Go to add” the device.
4. Click on “+”
5. Enter the correct wifi password(make sure it is 2.4G Wi-Fi)
6. “Device added successfully” will be displayed.
   
   

Method 2 – Auto Scan:

1. Confirm the Bluetooth and GPS of smartphone are on.
2. Login in to Avatar Controls app, click on”+”
3. Click “Auto Scan” and start scanning.
4. Enter the correct Wi-Fi password[make sure it is 2.4G Wi-Fi)
5. “Device added successfully” will be displayed.
   
   
   

Rename the device

• After the device be added successfully, click the device description text to modify device name. The name of the device is recommended to use easy pronunciation of the English words. [Amazon Echo only supports English temporarily).
  

Multiple devices can be added and renamed according to the above procedures.

Support 3rd-Party Connect[Alexa & Google Home]

1. Click the edit menu of the device control panel.
2. Select the 3rd party application to be operated.
3. Sign in with your Amazon Alexa or Google Home account.
   
   

Safety information

1. The device is recommended for use indoors and in a dry location.
2. Please contact the seller for replacement if there is any damage caused by transportation.
3. Please plug in the socket in proper condition and away from the children.
4. Please plug in the socket fully while using for safety concern.
5. Please do not disassemble or reinstall the socket. Otherwise, there may cause a product damaged or security risks.
