GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

DANGER ROR CHILDREN!

• This electric appliance is not a toy. Keep the product and the components of the packaging (such as plastic bags, cardboard) out of the reach of children.
• The appliance may be used by people with reduced physical censorial or mental abilities, or without experience or necessary knowledge, as long they operate under supervision or have been instructed on the safe use of the appliance and understood the dangers related to its use.
• Children must be kept under control to prevent them from playing with the appliance.

DANGER OF BURNS!

• Keep the product out of the reach of children and pets and should be under strict supervision of an adult.
• The appliance can warm up a lot. to avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch a hot surface. If provided, use handles when moving the heater or wait when it cool down.

ATTENTION!!! DANGER OF FIRE

• To prevent a possible fire, do not cover air intake and guarantee proper air circulation; do not lean on walls or surfaces that could block up the flow.
• Do not leave the appliance on and unattended.
• Unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet when the appliance is not in use.
• Do not use the appliance while sleeping.
• Give a wide area around the appliance free from flammable materials like cushions, paper, etc.
• Do not cover the appliance with flammable materials like cushions, paper, etc.
• Maintain distance from the appliance while it is in use to avoid burns or personal injury.
• Clean possible grids if are backed up from dust to avoid a wrong discharge of heat.
• Do not use the appliance to dry flammable materials.
• The appliance is intended only for indoor use.
• Keep the appliance and the power cord away from heated surfaces.

• This appliance was designed only for use with an AC outlet. Before turning on, ensure that the voltage grid corresponds on the indicated data plague.

• To disconnect the appliance from an electrical outlet, pull directly on plug avoiding to pull power cord before proceeding with cleaning operations, unplug the appliance when it’s not used.

• Do not use or touch the appliance with wet hands.
• Do not plug pr unplug the appliance from electrical outlet with wet hand.

LOCATION AND CONNECTION

• Remove all packaging material and keep out reach of children. After removing the packaging, check the appliance for damage or other signs of a fault/defect/malfunction. In case of doubt, do not use the appliance and contact your vendor for inspection or replacement.
• Choose a suitable location for the heater with at least 20 inches of free space around it

SET-UP AND OPERATION

• Make sure that the heater is switched off (4) (0 pushed in) then plug into a correctly functioning 220-240 V/50 Hz socket.
• Now set the main switch (4) to I (on); the heater is now on standby and the indicator light (7) light up.
• Switch on the heater by pressing the FAN/STANDBY BUTTON (11).
• Press the “Temperature higher” button (8) to set the desired temperature (maximum 90°). With the “Temperature lower” Button (9) you can set the minimum desired room temperature (minimum 60°). The display (10) shows the set temperature.
• The thermostat will now regulate the heater to turn on if the temperature in the room is too low and off once the desired temperature is reached.
• Press FAN (11) button to speed up the fan or to slow it down.
• Press the timer button (12) to set the timer. The display changes from degrees to hours. Hold in button to enter more hours, up to a maximum of 12. If you set the timer while the heater is on, you set the number of hours after which the heater turns itself off.
• Long press on the temperature up button (8) to change the reading from Fahrenheit to Celsius and vice versa.
• To switch off the heater you must first set it to standby by pressing the FAN/standby button (11). The heater will stop heating, but the fan cools for another 60 seconds before switching off. You can then use the main switch to turn off the heater properly (0 pressed). Never leave the plug in the socket when the heater is not in use.

SAFETY FEATURES

In case of internal overheating, the overheating safeguard will switch the heater off. This may occur if the heater cannot give off enough heat or if it cannot draw in enough fresh air. As mentioned, this is generally caused by (partially) covering the heater or obstructing the air intake and/or outlet grill or installing the heater too close to a wall or something similar. When the overheating safeguard switches the heater off, you need to turn the switch to the “O position” (off) and remove the heater from the socket. Allow the heater to cool down and make sure that whatever caused the overheating is removed or amended. The heater can then be reused. If the problem persists or if you cannot find an obvious cause for the overheating, turn the heater off immediately and take the plug out of the socket.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Keep the heater clean. Deposits of dust and dirt in appliance are a common cause of overheating so these should regularly be removed! Switch off the heater, remove the plug from the socket and allow the heater to cool down before cleaning or carrying out maintenance work.

• Wipe the outside of the heater regularly with a dry or slightly damp cloth.
  Do not use aggressive soaps, sprays, cleaners or abrasives, waxes, polishes or chemical solution! Make sure that no water gets into the device.

• Use a vacuum cleaner to carefully remove any dust and dirt from the grills and ensure that the air intake and outlet openings are clean. Be careful not to touch or damage any internal parts during cleaning.

• The heater contains no other parts which need maintenance. The appliance may only be opened and/or repaired by properly authorized and qualified persons.

• At the end of the season, stored the clean heater upright, in the original packaging if possible, in a cool, dry and dust-free place.

• If the heater becomes worn or is damaged beyond repair, do not dispose of it with household waste. Take it to your local authority’s collection point for electrical appliance where any reusable materials will be collected and redistributed.

The product is only suitable for well insulated spaces or occasional use.

DISPOSAL OF THE ELECTRIC OR ELECTRONIC DEVICE AT THE END OF ITS LIFE

Dear Customer,

It is important to remind you that, as a good citizen, you cannot dispose of this product as municipal waste; you have to do a separate collection. The symbol labeled on the appliance indicates that the rubbish is subject to “separate collection”.

Electrical and electronic appliance cannot be considered as domestic waste. Therefore. at the end of its useful life, this product should not be disposed with municipal waste. The user must therefore assign or (have collected) the rubbish to a treatment facility under local administration. The separate collection of the rubbish and the successive treatment, recycling and disposal operations promote production of appliances made with recycled materials and reduce negative effects on health and the environment caused by improper treatment of rubbish.
