Notice:

1. Use 18650 size rechargeable batteries, first time to install the battery and replace the battery, please use the charger to charge the activation device.
2.  The digital microscope has a lens cover to protect it from dust. Please remember to remove the lens cover when using the microscope.
3. Due to version issues, it may be slightly changed due to upgrades, which do not affect your use.

Parts and functions

OK Button : In the photo mode, press this key to take photos and save files automatically. In video mode, short press this key to take video and then press the key to stop and ave files. When you enter a menu,you can confirm the selection by short pressing this button.
Left/Right Button: You could press this button to move your selection.
Menu  Button: It’s a menu and toggle button.Short press this button to enter and exit the menu. In the boot mode, long press this button for 2-3 seconds to switch modes, namely  “video mode”, “photo mode” , “file mode” in turn.
Power Button: Turn off/on the power.
Focus Wheel: Whiletakingpicturesorvideos, rotate this roller to just the focus and focus the subject.
LED Light Wheel: Through this wheel, you could adjust the brightness of 8 LED lights.
Reset Hole: If this microscope gets stuck in, you could insert a thin object into the hole, press the button to turn off the device.
TF Card Slot: The most important thing is that you must insect a TF card in the slot before you use it, and you could storage files.Maximum support 32G.
USB Interface: ① Entering the PC camera mode or hard disk memory mode via a USB cable connecting your windows computers. (Mac computer don’t support) ② When the power of the device is low, the charger is connected to charge the device. It is not recommended to use the device during the charging process(which will reduce the life of the device’s battery).

The Indicator Light: The indicator light includes the charging indicator (red) and the working indicator (blue). The charging indicator is located above the working indicator and is displayed through the indicator light hole(number 7). After the device is connected to the USB, the charge indicator lights up. After long-press, the power button for 2-3  seconds to start normally, the working indicator (blue) is always on.

Operation Methods

Turn on the device by long-pressing the power button.
Long press Menu Button to switch video/photo/file mode.
1. Mode Interface
A.Video Mode
The microscope opening is in video mode. Short press the OK button to start and end up the record.
B.Photo Mode
Long press the MENU Button to switch into the Photo Mode. Press the OK button to take a photo.
C.File Mode
Long press the MENU Button to switch into the File Mode. And press the Left/Right button to look through the file you recorded.

2. Menu Interface
Short pressing the MENU Button to enter and exit the menu interface. You could short press the MENU Button to switch the special menu setting to the common menu setting. OK Button to confirm, Left/Right Button to move the selection.
(1) Common Menu Setting:
Format: Format the memory.
Language: Select different languages for display.
Line-assist: display and hide the “cross” line in the photo and video
interface.
Auto-Off: Select the appropriate time to automatically shut down the device when no one is operating.
Sys. Reset: Restore the factory settings.
Light freq: Mains frequency setting, 50Hz/60Hz optional.
Date Input: Set date/time parameters.
USB: Choose the PC Cam/Disk/Charging Mode.
Version: View the current software version.
(2) Special Menu Setting:
A.Video Menu Setting
In the video mode, short press the MENU Button to enter the video menu setting.
Size: The choice of video resolution is 720P and VGA formats.
Time Stam: When this option is enabled, the camera and video have time stamps.
Exposure Compensation: Exposure adjustment.

B.Photo Menu Setting
In the photo mode, short press the MENU Button to enter the photo menu setting.
Quality: The choice of photo resolution is 3M,2M,1.3M, and VGA formats.
C.File Menu Setting
In the file mode, short press the MENU Button to enter the file menu setting.
Delete: You could choose to delete the selected content or select all to delete.
Lock/Unlock: lock or unlock the files.
3.USB Function
Device mode has PC camera mode and hard disk storage mode available for the user to choose from.
(1) Disk Drive Mode
First, set the USB function to “Disk” mode in the microscope menu and press OK to end.
When connected to a computer, the device cannot perform operations, you can enter the device memory at the computer. Only the switch button LED fill light knob is valid, other buttons cannot be used.
(2) PC Camera Mode
If you want to watch it from the computer directly, you could choose a PC Camera Mode.

① First, set the USB function to “PC camera” mode in the microscope menu and press OK to end. Then connecting the microscope with the computer via USB cable. The microscope automatically enters PC Camera mode when you connect the computer.
② And only open the “cap” software on your windows computer. If your computer doesn’t have “Amcap” software, you could copy the software “amcap” file from CD, or download it from Google. Then turn on “Amcap” software on the Windows Computers, as shown,  then choose the second option and check the device name GENERAL

UVC , finally select the Preview in the third option to display the image. In PC mode, only the button of the machine and the potentiometer of the light supplement lamp are valid. Other keys cannot be used.
FQA
This is a 500X/1000X Magnification Microscope, but why do some users think it is a 250X Magnification Microscope
Reply: This is a 500X/1000X Magnification Microscope, when you let the lens close to the object (better less than 5mm), and then turn the focus wheel until it becomes clear, this  is 500X Magnification, then continue turning the focus wheel, it will be 1000X Magnification, If the distance is over 5mm, the magnification will be 250X More questions please contact us by email:support@annlovusa.com
