Read these instructions carefully before switching on the appliance and keep
them for future reference. Failure to follow and observe these instructions
could lead to an accident.
SAFETY ADVICE AND WARNINGS

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are supervised.

This appliance is not a toy. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

Ensure that the fan is switched off from the supply mains before start any installation or assembly operation.

Disconnect the appliance from the mains before undertaking any cleaning task. Ensure that the fan is switched off from the supply mains before removing the guard.

Disconnect the appliance from the mains when not in use and before undertaking any cleaning task.
Unplug the appliance from the mains before refilling the water tank. If the connection to the mains has been damaged, it must be replaced, take the appliance to an authorised technical support service. Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the appliance by yourself in order to avoid a hazard. -
This appliance is for household use only, not professional, industrial use.
- Ensure that the voltage indicated on the rating label matches the mains voltage before plugging in the appliance.
- Connect the appliance to a socket that can supply a minimum of 10 amperes.
- The appliance’s plug must fit into the mains socket properly. Do not alter the plug. Do not use plug adaptors.
- The appliance must be used and placed on a flat, stable surface.
- Do not use the appliance in association with a programmer, timer or other device that automatically switches it on.
- Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug is damaged.
- If any of the appliance casings breaks, immediately disconnect the appliance from the mains to prevent the possibility of an electric shock.
- Do not use the appliance if it has fallen on the floor, if there are visible signs of damage or if it has a leak.
- Do not force the power cord. Never use the power cord to lift up, carry or unplug the appliance.
- Do not wrap the power cord around the appliance.
- Check the state of the power cord. Damaged or tangled cables increase the risk of electric shock.
- The appliance is not suitable for outdoor use.
- Supply cord should be regularly examined for signs of damage, and if the cord is damaged, the appliance must not be used.
- Do not use or store the appliance outdoors.
- Do not leave the appliance out in the rain or exposed to moisture. If water gets into the appliance, this will increase the risk of electric shock.
- Do not touch the plug with wet hands.
- Do not touch any of the appliance’s moving parts while it is operating.
USE AND CARE
- Fully extend the appliance’s power cable before each use.
- Do not use the appliance if its accessories are not properly fitted.
- Do not use the appliance if the accessories attached to it are defective. Replace them immediately.
- Do not use the appliance if the on/off switch does not work.
- Do not move the appliance while in use.
- Do not use the appliance if it is tipped up and do not turn it over.
- Do not turn the appliance over while it is in use or connected to the mains.
- Disconnect the appliance from the mains when not in use and before undertaking any cleaning task.
- Store this appliance out of reach of children and/or persons with physical, sensory or reduced mental or lack of experience and knowledge.
- Keep the appliance in a dry, dust-free place, out of direct sunlight.
- Make sure that dust, dirt or other foreign objects do not block the fan grill on the appliance.
- Keep the appliance in good condition. Check that the moving parts are not misaligned or jammed and make sure there are no broken parts or anomalies that may prevent the appliance from operating correctly.
- Never leave the appliance connected and unattended if is not in use. This saves energy and prolongs the life of the appliance.
- Do not use the appliance to dry pets or animals.
- Do not use the appliance to dry textiles of any kind.
Service:
- Any misuse or failure to follow the instructions for use renders the guarantee and the manufacturer’s liability null and void.

If the model of your appliance does not have the accessories described above, they can also be bought separately from the Technical Assistance Service.
Installation
- Be sure to remove all packaging material from inside the appliance.
- Do not remove the wheels from the appliance.
- Ensure that the appliance is level with respect to the floor.
- Do not cover or obstruct any of the openings of the appliance.
- The plug must be easily accessible so it can be disconnected in an emergency.
- The appliance should be used with its wheels attached.
Assembling the battery
- Caution: During the handling of batteries, do not touch both poles at the same time, as this will provoke the partial discharge of the stocked energy therefore affecting longevity.
- Remove the cover of the battery compartment.
- Check that the plastic covering that protects the battery has been removed (some batteries are sold with a protective covering)
- Put the battery in its compartment, respecting the polarity.
- Replace the cover of the battery compartment.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Before use:
- Make sure that all products’ packaging has been removed.
- Prepare the appliance according to the function you wish to use:
Use:
- Extend the cable completely before plugging it in.
- Connect the appliance to the mains.
- Turn the appliance on, by using the on/off button (1/a).
- Select the appliance function desired.
Fan function:
- Select the desired ventilation speed by pressing the speed button (2/b).
COOLING / HUMIDIFIER FUNCTION:
- Use the cooling botton (3/e), to activate this function.
- To deactivate this function, follow the procedure for switching it on in reverse.
- WARNING: Do not activate this function if there is no water in the tank, or if the water level is below the minimum.
- NOTE: It is highly recommended to use the ice contain-ers (K) (previously frozen) and cold water to maximize the cooling function of the appliance.
Timer function:
- The appliance’s operating time can be controlled (0.5-7.5h).
- To program the operating time simply select it using the timer button (4/d).
- The time programmed or remaining time will be shown on the pilot lights (7).
- After the selected time the appliance will switch off automatically.
Oscillation function:
- The oscillation function makes it possible to direct the air flow from the apparatus, by turning the vertical fins.
- To activate this function, press the oscillation button (5/f).
- To deactivate this function, follow the procedure for switching it on in reverse.
- You can also adjust the horizontal fins manually.
WIND MODES:

This model has three wind modes:
-
Normal: The fan operates constantly at the selected speed.
-
Breeze: The fan alternates periods of more and less power, simulating the feeling of a soft breeze. The amplitude of these shifts depends on the speed selected.
-
Night: At speed 3, the fan operates at this speed for approximately 30 minutes, then it switches to speed 2 for another 30 minutes and finally it switches to speed 1 until it is turned off or the timer runs out. At speed 2, the fan operates at speed 2 for 30 minutes, then it switches to speed 1 until it is turned off or the timer runs out.
At speed one, the fan operates at this speed until it is turned off or the timer runs out. -
To activate this function, press the modes button (6/c).

Once you have finished using the appliance:
- Turn the appliance off pressing the on/off button (1/a).
- Unplug the appliance from the mains.
- Clean the appliance.
FILL UP / EMPTY THE WATER TANK:
- The water tank (J) is in the back-bottom part of the appliance.
- Always turn off and unplug the appliance from the mains before undertaking these tasks.
- Turn the water tank buckle to the horizontal position.
- Pull out 1/3 of the water tank and pour the water in it.
- The tank can also be filled up from the top tank. Open the cover and slowly pour the water into it, so it can drain down to the tank without overflowing.
- To empty the water tank, wait at least two minutes after turning the appliance off to let all the water in the pipe or the evaporative pad to come down to the tank.
- Pull out the tank and deattach the water pump by turning the two knobs that hold it. Carefully remove the tank and pour out the water.
CLEANING
- Disconnect the appliance from the mains and allow it to cool before undertaking any cleaning task.
- Clean the equipment with a damp cloth with a few drops of washing-up liquid and then dry.
- Do not use solvents, or products with an acid or base pH such as bleach, or abrasive products, for cleaning the appliance.
- Do not let water or any other liquid get into the air vents to avoid damage to the inner parts of the appliance.
- Never submerge the appliance in water or any other liquid or place it under running water.
- If the appliance is not in good condition of cleanliness, its surface may degrade and inexorably affect the duration of the appliance’s useful life and could become unsafe to use.
Cleaning the air filter:
- Clean the air filter (I) every 2 weeks. If the air filter is blocked with dust, its effectiveness will be reduced.
- To disassemble the air filter, remove the two supporting screws. Remove the air filter.
- Carefully, separate the evaporative pad from the air filter without damaging it.
- Wash the air filter by submerging it carefully in warm water with a neutral detergent, rinse it off and let it dry completely in a shady place.
- Install the filter carefully after having them cleaned and completely dry.
Maintainance of the evaporative pad:
- The evaporative pad (H) must be changed every approximately 1,500 hours of use. It can be bought form any of our Technical Assistance Services.
- Always turn off and unplug the appliance from the mains before undertaking this task.
- To replace the evaporative pad, remove the air filter and separate the evaporative pad from the air filter.
- Carefully place the new evaporative pad and fix the air filter with the two screws again.
ANOMALIES AND REPAIR
- Take the appliance to an authorised technical support service if product is damaged or other problems arise.
Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the appliance yourself as this may be dangerous.

Ecology and recyclability of the product
- The materials of which the packaging of this appliance consists are included in a collection, classification and recycling system. Should you wish to dispose of them, use the appropriate public recycling bins for each type of material.
- The product does not contain concentrations of substances that could be considered harmful to the environment.
This symbol means that in case you wish to dispose of the product once its working life has ended; take it to an authorised waste agent for the selective collection of Waste from Electric and Electronic Equipment (WEEE).
