audioquest JitterBug FMJ USB 2.0 Data and Power Noise Filter
JitterBug FMJ (Full Metal Jacket) is easy to use:
Place one JitterBug in-line (in-series) between any computer, smartphone, NAS,
streamer, or car audio system and a USB input. For an additional improvement in audio performance, you can
use a second JitterBug in another unoccupied USB port—that is, in parallel to
the first. When using Ethernet, digital
coax, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth (at home or in a car), plug JitterBug FMJ into an
available USB port to reduce noise.
Note: We always recommend using a JitterBug in-line (in-series) with
DragonFlys Black and Red. However, because two filters in series can degrade
performance, the special filtering in the DragonFly Cobalt might improve or
hurt performance depending on the connected source. We recommend first trying
JitterBug in-line, and if performance suffers, then using JB in parallel if
possible. If there is no other USB input on the same device, and no USB input
in a car or other candidate, please see your dealer about a refund or
exchange.
