Safety Instructions
- The product is intended forprivate, non-commercial use only.
- Protect the product from dirt, moisture and overheating and use it in dry rooms only.
- Do not drop the product and do not exposeittoany major shocks.
- Do not open the device or continue to operate it if it becomes damaged.
- Do not attempt to service or repair the product yourself. Leave any and all service work to qualified experts.
- Use the product forits intended purpose only.
- Keep this product, as all electrical products,out of the reach of children!
- Do not usethe product in moist environments and avoid splashes.
- Do not modify the product in any way.Doing so voids the warranty.
- Dispose of packaging material immediately according to locally applicable regulations.
- Lay all cables so that they don’t pose a tripping a hazard.
- Do not bend or crush the cable.
- Use the itemonly in moderate climatic conditions.
- Do not usethe product in the immediate vicinity of heaters or other heat sources or in direct sunlight.
Putting into service and operation
- Set both devices (thePC/notebook/tablet as well as the monitor/TV/projector) to the same screen resolution to enable asmooth transmission.
- Switch on the PC/notebook/tablet andthe monitor/TV/projector,completely start up all devices.
- Connect the adapter withthe HDMI™outputofyour PC/notebook/tablet.
- Then connect aVGA cableat firstwith the adapterand afterwards with themonitor/TV/projector.
- If necessary activate the VGA input in the menu of your monitor/TV/projector.
Note
- Generally observe the operating instructions of all devices that aretobeconnected.
- Current HDMI™ outputs transmit both video and audio signals. Because the VGA input can only process avideo signal, the adapter is also equipped with a3.5 mm jack for sound.
