Troubleshooting List

For V8

No| Abnormal phenomenon| Cause of failure| Troubleshooting approach
1| Vacuum failure| Sealing air leakage will lead to a vacuum or sealing failure. The reasons include:

1. Vacuum bag: the bag is damaged, the opening is not cut flat, not placed in the air pumping chamber, or it is folded/overlapped. The bag is filled with too many things,     the reserved sealing width is insufficient, or a bag unsuitable for a vacuum machine is used

2. The working area of the machine for sealing is uneven, resulting in sealing air leakage: for example, the gray gasket of the dropbox is
loose and uneven, and there are foreign matters left at the sealing part.

| 1. Select the “DRY” or “MOIST” function, and correctly install the external joint back into the machine before use

2.  Use the packaging bag suitable for the vacuum machine, whose size and capacity shall meet the product use requirements. Keep the opening of the bag cut smoothly, and it shall not be damaged; Correctly place the opening of the bag according to the instructions of the manual, and push it to lock (the opening of the roll bags is better to be put downward)

3. Install the gray gasket of the drip box back into the machine and flatten it to keep the working area for sealing clean and free of foreign matters

2| low speed of vacuuming
and no sealing| 1.   The “external vacuum” mode is selected

2.   The size of the vacuum bag is too large, or there is a leakage of the bag such as damage, or incomplete sealing.

3. The vacuum bag is filled with too much food

troubleshooting

| 1. Under the external vacuum mode, the machine will not seal
automatically. Reselect the “DRY” or “MOIST” function2. Select “DRY” or “MOIST” mode, use the vacuum bag whose size and capacity meet the product, and refer to “vacuum failure” for

3. It is recommended that the filling capacity of the vacuum bag should not exceed 2 / 3 of the whole

3| the vacuum bag is sealed incompletely with an opening| 1.   There are foreign matters in the working area for sealing

2.   The opening of the vacuum bag is not flush, or it is rolled, folded or overlapping, and it is inserted incompletely into the machine

| 1. Clean / keep the surface of parts in the working area for sealing of the machine tidy and free from damage

2. Keep the opening of the vacuum bag flush, press, and flatten it. Then put it into the entry of the machine, and push it to the front contacting the drip box baffle (about 50mm). If the vacuum bag is not of a sheet type but a roll one,   it is better to put it into the machine with its opening downward

4| the sealing of vacuum bag
is melt| 1. The bag used is not the special one for vacuum packaging machine (not resistant to high temperature)

2.”Wet pumping” mode is selected when sealing slightly dry substances

3. The adhesive tape on the surface of the heating component of the machine is damaged (the brown adhesive tape is located above the drip box of the machine and it may fall to the part contacting the vacuum bag during pumping)

| 1. Select the vacuum bag suitable for the vacuum packaging machine

2. Reasonably select “DRY” or “MOIST” mode according to the type of matters

3. Keep the sealing area clean / the tape intact (replace it if damaged)

5| The key of “seal” flashes continuously, and other functions of the machine cannot be used| The machine has entered the state of set overheating protection, and the use of other functions is limited at the same time| Leave the machine still and cool it naturally for about 15 minutes. When the aperture of the key panel is on, the machine can be used again
6| The key of “EXTERNAL
VACUUM” flashes
continuously| The machine enters the stat of “EXTERNAL VACUUM” continuous vain pumping protection, and the use of other functions is limited at the same time| Leave the machine still and cool it naturally for about 15 minutes. When the aperture of the key panel is on, the machine can be used again
7| After the “DRY” or “MOIST” the function is started, keep vacuuming without a stop| The machine entered the state of “DRY” or “MOIST” continuous vain pumping because there was sealing air leakage during the process| Restarting the “DRY” or “MOIST” function key halfway may interrupt the machine operation. Please refer to the “vacuum failure” section to remedy the trouble and return the machine to normal use.
