Getting Started
POWER ON & OFF
To power on the glasses, open the case’s lid and wait for the power-on sound
prompt before removing the glasses from the case.
To power off the glasses, place the glasses back inside the charging case and
close the lid.
The glasses will power off if it’s been idle for over an hour. To power on the
glasses without placing them inside the case, wear the glasses and longpress
both touch controls for 5 seconds.
CONNECT
To connect to a new device, long press either sides of the touch controls for
5 seconds until you hear the voice prompt “Bluetooth pairing,” then activate
your device’s Bluetooth and connect to “Aether Eyewear.” If you hear the
prompt “Bluetooth pairing failed,” repeat the procedure above again.
To force disconnect the current device and connect to a new device, long press
either sides of the touch controls for 5 seconds.
CHARGE
To charge the glasses, place them back inside the charging case by folding the
left temple before the right temple. Once placed inside, make sure the glasses
are resting flat inside the case and that the charging indicator light inside
the case is showing either orange or green.
To recharge the case, plug the provided USB-C charging cable into the back of
the case and make sure the indicator light next to the USB-C socket shows
either orange or green.
Using Aether
Aether audio sunglasses & glasses are wireless Bluetooth® 5.1 linked audio devices used to listen to music, podcasts or other audio sources. They can also be used for phone calls and interact with your paired device’s audio assistance feature.

MUSIC
Single tap either side of the touch controls to play / pause the song. Double-
tap right to skip song and left to go back to the previous song.
CALLS
Single tap either side of the touch controls to answer calls. Double tap
either side of the touch controls to decline calls.
VOICE ASSIST
Long press either side of the touch controls for 2 seconds to activate voice
assistance.
IMPORTANT NOTE
The touch controls will only work when the glasses are worn.

Aether audio sunglasses are equipped with Carl Zeiss Vision’s UV protection
tinted lenses. All lenses are made with the highest quality materials to
ensure crystal clear vision without any distortion while protecting your eyes
from harmful UV rays.

DURAVISION® BLUEPROTECT ZEISS LENSES
Blue-violet light is invisible to the naked eye but it’s all around us. The
BlueProtect lenses filter blue-violet light at 440nm and below. This has a
minor impact on your melatonin regulation and inner clock while providing
beneficial protection from potential eye harm.

Important Information
INDICATIONS FOR USE
Aether is water-resistant but not waterproof, please do not put it underwater.
The glasses come with a dedicated wireless charging case and can only be
recharged with this case. Please do not try to recharge the glasses in any
other way.
Aether lenses are not prescription correction lenses but they can be
retrofitted by an optician with prescription correction lenses. When
retrofitting the lenses, please give your optician the “instructions for
opticians” sheet which comes in this box.
USER SAFETY
Do not use the product if the package is damaged upon delivery. To avoid hearing damage, you should not use the glasses at high volumes over a long period of time. Do not use the glasses if they emit any loud, unusual noise. If this happens, stop using the device immediately and contact us at support @aether-eyewear.com.
Remove the glasses immediately if you experience any unusual warming sensation from the temples.
This product contains small parts that may be a choking hazard. Please keep away from children under the age of 3.
Be cautious as the use of the glasses might distract you from your
environment. Care for your safety and the safety of those around you when you
are wearing the glasses and engaged in activities which require your
attention.
Follow applicable laws, especially on the use of mobile phones or other
devices while driving.
Adjust the volume to ensure that you can hear your surroundings.
Tinted glasses are not recommended to be worn for night time driving.
The lenses should be exchanged by an optician only.
This product contains magnetic material. Seek medical advice on whether or not
this might affect your implantable medical device.
PRODUCT SAFETY
Do not bend the temples of the glasses as this can damage the electronics inside.
Keep the glasses and charging case away from fire and heat sources. Avoid storage in direct sunlight. Do not place any open heat sources near the product.
Do not try to open, alter or modify the product in any way. This will void the
warranty of the product and can damage the product. Aether will not be
obligated to fix any products once the temples have been opened up.
Do not try to stick anything into the speaker of the glasses. This might
degrade the sound quality and will void the warranty.
Only use the provided charging case for recharging the battery of the glasses.
Do not charge the charging case with a mobile adapter in the airplane seat jacks as this could result in injury or property damage due to overheating.
Charge the case only with an approved power supply compliant with regulatory requirements.
Only use products, attachments, accessories specified by Aether.
Unplug the charging case during lightning storms and when unused for long
periods of time.
During transport, store the glasses in the provided charging case to avoid unnecessary scratches on the product.
The glasses can only be used within a temperature range of -10°C to 40°C
Don’t attempt to remove the rechargeable lithium-ion battery from the product.
After each use, wipe all sides of the glasses with the cloth provided or a dry cloth.
The glasses can only be repaired and serviced by Aether. Do not repair or
service your glasses anywhere else. For repairs and servicing, please contact

Troubleshooting
Power on and wear the glasses to enable touch control to work. Long press either sides of the touch controls for 10 seconds to reset the glasses.
Regulatory Information
Aether glasses and charging case has been tested and complies with RF: ( BT5.0 & 2.4G ) , EMC: ( BT5.0 & 2.4G ) , EN55020, EMF: EN62479, LVD: EN62358 – 1: 2014 + AC : 2015.
This low power electronic device complies with EN62479 and does not cause harmful interferences to the user at any time, except for situations of violated safety constraints. Accordingly, the limit for radiation exposure is adhered to, as defined for user’s health for the general population. The device has immunity against electromagnetic interference as species by EN55020.
The batteries in the glasses and the charging case are in compliance with IEC62133 / UL2054 / UL1642.
The product is designed to block more than 99% UVA and UVB light energy. This product is in compliance with ANSI Z80.3 – 2018 and AS / NZS 1067. 1 : 2016.
The lenses meet applicable government impact resistance requirements but are
not shatterproof.
