Thank you for purchasing the Freedom Charge Modular Dock. Please read this user manual carefully before using the device.

LED Display

Charging Dock

The light on the front of the charging dock is on when the charging dock is connected to a power source via the USB-C input.

Power Bank

  1. “Power” button:
    Press the “Power” button lightly to turn on the Power Bank.
    When turned on, the LEDs will light up. The number of LEDs lit up on the Power Bank indicates the remaining battery charge.
    Press the “Power” button lightly again to turn off the Power Bank.

  2. Power indicator:
    There are S LEDs on the power bank.

4 power indicator LEDs lite up white to show the remaining battery capacity, see the table below for details.
The power indicator LED will flash when charging.

The remaining LED indicates if the wireless charging is active

E.g. If the power bank has 70% power when charging the first 2 power indicator LEDs will light up white.

The 3rd LED will flash white.

When the power reaches 76% the 3rd LED will stay white and the 4th LED will start flashing white.

Charging the Power Bank

Miro-USB
Use the supplied USB lead.

  1. Plug the micro-USB end of the lead into the power bank.
  2. Plug the USB end of the lead into a PC (Fig 1) or any USB output DC power adaptor (Fig.2). (5V/2A, 9V/2A)

The LED indicator lights will be on or flashing as the power bank charges.

USB Type-C
Use the supplied USB lead.

  1. Plug the USB-C end of the lead into the USB-C port on the power bank.
  2. Plug the USB end of the lead into a PC (Fig 1) or any USB output DC power adaptor (Fig.2). (DC 5V/3A, 9V/2A)

The LED indicator lights will be on or flashing as the power bank

Charging Dock
Use the supplied USB-C lead.

  1. Plug the USB-C end of the lead into the USB-C port on the charging dock.
  2. Plug the USB end of the lead into a USB output DC power adaptor. (DC SV/3A)
  3. Place the power bank into the charging dock resting it against the stand. Be sure the pogo pin connection on the power bank and charging dock are aligned.

Note:
If the charging dock has power, when the power bank is connected to it the wireless charging function is automatically enabled and the wireless charging LED will be green.

Using the Charging Dock

When the charging dock has power the LED light on the front of it will be green and the USB output ports on the charging dock can be used to power your electronic devices.

Use the supplied USB lead.

  • Plug the USB-A end of the lead into the USB output port on the power bank.
  • Connect the other end to your device’s charging port.

Note:
The USB outputs on the charging dock can be used when the power bank is charging in the dock.

Using the Power Bank

The power bank and charging dock will both automatically

detect if a USB device is connected to the Type-C or USB-A outputs. When a device is connected to the power bank the power indicator LEDs lite up to show the power bank’s remaining charge.

Note:
The wireless charging pad can be used when the power bank is charging. The USB outputs will not work while the power bank is charging.

The power bank will automatically turn off after 20 seconds if no current over 100mA is detected.

If you want to use the power bank with a device that draws less than 100 mA double press the power button to start the low current mode. The power bank will automatically turn off after 6 hours when in the low current mode.

USB Charging

Connect the USB-A or USB-C end into the corresponding USB output port on the power bank.

Connect the other end to your device’s charging port. The LED lights on the power bank will be lit when charging.

Wireless Charging

Press the power button on the power bank to turn on the power bank and begin wireless charging.

  1. Check the Qi wireless charging LED is green to indicate wireless charging is active.
  2. Place the Qi-enabled wireless charging device in the Qi wireless charging area on the power bank.
  3. The Qi wireless charging LED flashes green when a Qi wireless charging device is placed on the charging area and is charging correctly.
  4. The Qi wireless charging LED turns red if a non-wireless charging-enabled metallic object is present in the charging area. (e.g. A coin or metal phone case).

Note:

If the charging dock has power, when the power bank is connected to it the wireless charging function is automatically enabled and the wireless charging LED will be green.

Troubleshooting

Charging:

Phenomenon Reason Operation
The power indicator is not on Use the inappropriate charger. Please use the

correct charger.
Bad USB port connection.| Check USB input/output.
Use the inappropriate USB cord.| Use the USB cord supplied by the device manufacturer.
The power indicator is not on| When charging the device, the indicator is off.| Press the power button on the power bank and ensure it is switched on.
Overheating| When charging the device, the indicator is off.| Make sure the device works in the proper environment and charge it again after several minutes.

Using:

The indicator will automatically turn off after being disconnected for 30 seconds.
Abnormal working time| End of battery life| Charge the power bank again.
Wireless charging LED is red| Non-wireless charging enabled metallic object is present in the charging area| Remove objects from the wireless charging area.

Wait for the wireless charging LED to turn green, try charging the wireless device again.

Safety Precautions

Please follow the safety precautions to prevent fire, electric shock, damage, or other injury or damage.

  1. If your power bank will not be used for an extended period of time, please charge the power bank once every 3 months.

  2. The power bank operating temperature is 0-40°C.

  3. Do not touch the power bank with wet hands and during charging keep away from combustible materials, such as sheets or blankets.

  4. Do not disassemble or modify the product. Do not bring the product into contact with water or any other liquids.
    In the case of electrolytic liquid leakage, overheating or any other peculiar occurrence does not use the power bank.

  5. Do not expose the product to fire and other heat sources. Do not use a power bank with any kind of physical damage as it could result in burning, explosion, and/or generation of toxic gas.

  6. Do not use the same charging cord to connect input and output on the power bank in case of a short circuit

  7. Young children and minors must be under supervision when using the power bank.

  8. Please read the user instruction carefully and use the power bank according to proper guidance. The manufacturer assumes no responsibility for any damages or injury that results from the improper operation of this product.

  9. Do not use the power bank to recharge your device(s) when the power bank is charging as this may cause damage to the battery of the power bank and shorten its life.
