User Notice

Product Overview Exterior

Caution:

  • The orange indicator shows the battery’s status. While charging, it is on. When charging is completed, the light is off. If an error should occur, the light will blink.
  • Do not place any objects within 20 cm of the air vents.
  • For mounting, please use specified screws and a suitable bracket.

Connection Ports

  • It is recommended to use the adapter that comes with this product (adapter input: 20V-3.25A).
  • This product can be used with a mobile power supply (input: 20V-3.25A ).
  • In order to avoid accidentally turning off the device by touching the power button of the remote control, long-press the power button on the projector to enter the safe shutdown state. In this state, the projector can only be switched on through the power button on the machine.
  • If not in use for a long time, the projector should be charged within every 3 months in order to keep the battery healthy. If the battery should have no power for more than 3-6 months, it could damage the battery and become a safety hazard. In such a situation, for your own safety, do not attempt to charge the battery and please contact our after-sales service.

Remote Control

  1. Power: When the projector is off, short press to turn it on. When the projector is on, short press to open the power menu. Long press to turn it off.
  2. Voice: Long press the voice control button and talk closely into the remote controller. The voice control feature will be added in a future update.
  3. Launch Board: Access the launch board interface.
  4. Navigation Pad: Move up, down, left, or right, then press the middle button to confirm.
  5. Home: Return to the home screen.
  6. Return: Return to the previous screen.
  7. Menu: Short press to access settings. Long press to enter the launch board.
  8. Volume: +Increases the volume. – Decreases the volume.
    5+7 Pairing the Remote Control: Hold the remote control within 20cm of the projector, then simultaneously press the Menu and Home buttons to pair.

Caution:

  • Pay attention to the positive and negative poles when installing the batteries In the remote control.
  • Dispose of or recycle the batteries in accordance with the local laws and regulations of your country or region.
  • It is recommended that the distance between the remote control and the projector is no more than 5 meters.
  • The illustration of the remote control is for reference purposes only. The actual products and functions may vary due to the regions they are used in.

Quickstart Guide

Focus

Rotate the Focus Wheel to adjust the screen focus (minimum effective focusing distance: 1.2m).

Keystone Correction

Select Keystone Correction in the shortcut menu bar at the top of the homepage, and use the up and down buttons to select Quick Adjustment, Fine Tuning, or Reset, then press the OK button to enter the correction mode.

Network & Internet

Select Settings in the shortcut menu bar at the bottom of the homepage > (Network Settings), select the name of the wireless network to be connected, enter the network password, and wait for the connection to be completed.

Screen Casting

Select Cast Projection in the shortcut menu bar at the bottom of the homepage. Select the corresponding screencast method according to your mobile device to enter the next operation guide.

Bluetooth Speaker Mode

Select Bluetooth Speaker in the shortcut menu bar at the bottom of the homepage or press the power button on the remote control to select the Bluetooth speaker mode. Turn on Bluetooth on the mobile phone and search for the name of the projector, choose the corresponding device name to start pairing.
During playback, you can choose to turn off the screen. Click Screen off to enjoy the music only and press any key to exit.

Frequently Used Menu

Select Settings in the shortcut menu bar at the bottom of the homepage to enter the (Common Menu] page. All frequently used functions and software upgrade notifications will be displayed on this page.

Troubleshooting

Fault Solution
No projected image Restart the projector. If the problem remains, try

stabbing the reset hole to reset the projector.
System crashes| Restart the projector. If the problem remains, try stabbing the reset hole to reset the projector.
Screen display error| Restart the projector. If the problem remains, try stabbing the reset hole to reset the projector.
The remote control is missing or not paired and the projector cannot be turned on remotely| Turn off the projector and disconnect from the power. Wait for five minutes, then plug in the power cord and turn on the projector. After the projector has been restarted, pair the remote
If the projector overheats, it will automatically turn off| Please remove any obstacles from the air inlet and outlet vents so as to ensure a smooth airflow through the projector. Follow the instructions above to restart the projector.
Other internal system errors| Please contact a qualified technician to service the device, or return the projector to the after-sales department.

Heyup Warranty Policy

This warranty policy applies to the Heyup Boxe, and its accessories which include, adapter and remote controller. During the warranty period, if functional failure should occur through product default, or if you have any questions about your warranty, please contact us at support®heyup.com.

Heyup Warranty Duration: 12 months

Warranty restrictions

  1. The device has exceeded the standard warranty duration.
  2. The device has liquid damage or any moisture/corrosion damage.
  3. Failed to use and maintain the device in accordance with the instructions in the user manual and lead to damage or malfunction, such as using the device under extreme temperatures, use of non-Heyup accessories, etc.
  4. If any damage occurs in/on the outer surface of the device, including but not limited to crack, scratches on the external surface.
  5. Any unauthorized repair or disassembling is attempted on the device.
  6. The warranty is void if the device is rooted by the user and it cannot be restored by a system update. The warranty does not cover natural wear and tear, usage under extreme conditions, damage due to improper care, and/or
  7. damage caused by acts of God such as floods, fire, or earthquakes.
  8. If there is any conflict between this service policy and national laws and regulations, all national laws and regulations shall prevail.
  9. If there is no warranty card or valid proof of purchase, an exception can be granted if the customer can prove that the device is within the warranty period.
