Voice Control
To wake up the plug with the voice of “Tuya Smart”, and you can voice control the plug after a beep. Following are the specific command words:

Turn on the plug| Turn on the plug after identification, the buzzer beeps 2
short times, and the indicator light is always on.
Turn off the plug| Turn off the plug after identification, the buzzer beeps a
long time, and the indicator light off.
Start Pairing| Revert to standby network status after identification,the
buzzer beeps a short time, and the indicator light flashes quickly.
Hand switch
Power on, press the button to turn on the plug, and the indicator light is always on; press the button again to turn off the plug, and the indicator light is off.
Network control
1. Ready to use
Scan the following QR code to download and install the “Tuya Smart” APP, or
search the “Tuya Smart” in App store.

Turn on the Bluetooth function of the mobile phone, connect to 2.4GHz WiFi(not
5.8GHz WI FI), open the APP and sign in to the Tuya account (please click to
register an account when first time to use).
2. Configure networking
Step 1: Add device
When the plug indicator is in the fast flashing state (if not, please speak
“Tuya Smart” to wake up the plug, and issue a command to return restore the
network configuration state, the command word is “Start Pairing”). Click “Add
Device” and select “Auto-Discovery”.
Step 2: Configure the network
Enter the router WiFi password, and click Next, the plug connect
automatically.
Step 3: You can customize the plug name when connecting success.
Speaker control
Support voice controls the plug with Amazon Echo and Google Home smart
speaker.
Take Amazon Echo as an example to configure the network:
- Open Tuya Smart App and equip the plug with Internet access;
- Share the permission of the Tuya plug to Amazon App in [Me], click Authorize, a web page will pop up, and enter the Amazon account and password in the web page, it will show that the authorization is successful;
- Open Amazon App to log in, enter the account and password, you will find the Tuya Smart plug when successfully logged in Amazon App, then you can control the plug.
APP Function Description
- Tum On/off plug. Click on the plug icon, you can remotely open and close the plug.
- Time switch. The plug can be turned on/off regularly, and can also be turned on/off by countdown.
