Controls/Parts, Home, and Play Golf Screens Guide

  1. POWER/MENU BUTTON – Press and hold to turn device on/off. Swipe right or left from the Time Screen to go to the Play Golf/Settings/Scorecard List Screen.
    Play Golf Screen Details:

  2. CENTER DISTANCE – Distance to the center of the green (or pin if you moved it).

  3. BACK DISTANCE – Distance to back of the green.

  4. FRONT DISTANCE – Distance to the front of the green.

  5. HOLE/PAR/QUICK HOLE CHANGE – Current hole number and par. Tap for Quick Hole Change.

  6. SCORE – User’s current total score for the round. Tap to go to the scorecard.

  7. GREENVIEW – Tap to access Greenview to change pin placement.

  8. HOLE VIEW – Tap to access Holeview and shot planning.

  9. SLOPE INDICATOR – (Outer ring) Illustrates distance mode and calibration status for slope feature. (see page 8 for further explanation)

  10. WIND – Wind speed indicator. Tap to go to Wind Screen.

  11. WIND DIRECTION INDICATOR – Shows wind direction (White Arrow)

  12. PIN TRACKER – Points to the pin or center of the green.(Orange Arrow)

Pins Slope Feature:

Blue Slope ring – Slope compensated distances with Elements is turned on. Purple Slope ring – Slope compensated distances without Elements is turned on.
Solid/Non-Flashing Ring – Indicates the unit is calibrated and displaying slope compensated distances. Blinking Slope Ring – Still receiving slope compensated distances but need to update calibration for more accurate distances. Calibrate the unit by taking it to a Teebox or Green.
Flashing Ring – indicates the unit is not calibrated and is displaying non slope compensated distances.
Calibrate unit by taking it to a Teebox or Green.

WARNING: Do not attempt to open the ION Edge Slope. It contains a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. Risk of explosion if the battery is replaced with an incorrect type.

  • Do not attempt to open, disassemble or service the internal battery. The battery must be replaced by a qualified technician.
  • Do not crush, puncture or short the battery’s external contacts. Do not expose to temperatures above 140 oF(60oC).
  • Do not charge the battery if the ambient temperature is over 113oF (45oC)
  • Properly recycle or dispose of the battery. Do not dispose of in fire or water.
