Power On
Turn on SOUL 3, the screen will light up and show “SOUL 3” and the first Bluetooth icon at the left corner begin to flash, it is the pairing mode.
Pairing mode: Bluetooth icon flashes. Successfully connected: Bluetooth icon stops flashing.
Power OFF
Turn off SOUL 3, the screen goes off.
The first way to connect – 30 Pin Connection
- Turn on SOUL 3, plug SOUL 3 into the dock, the speaker will turn to “iPod mode” automatically. ( If your speaker can not turn to “iPod” automatically, please change to the “iPod mode” manually ).
- In the pairing mode, the first Bluetooth icon begin to flash; Turn on Bluetooth function of your cellphone and search ” SOUL 3″ , click to pair to it, if successfully connected, the first icon stops flashing. Enter code “0000” if needed.
PLEASE NOTE: For some 30pin dock speakers, when SOUL 3 is successfully connected but no sound come out, you can try to connect SOUL 3 with speaker via 3.5mm audio cable. Please make sure your speaker is in AUX mode first.
The second way to connect -3.5mm Aux Connection
SOUL 3 is a upgraded Bluetooth receiver, built-in battery, not only for 30pin dock speakers, but also for no-Bluetooth speaker, headphone, headset. Turn your no-Bluetooth speaker/ headphone into Bluetooth speaker/ headphone.
- Turn on SOUL 3.
- Turn on Bluetooth function of your cellphone and search “SOUL 3” , click to pair, if successfully connected, the first icon stops flashing. Enter code “0000” if needed.
- Connect your no-Bluetooth speaker or headset via 3.5mm connection. If successfully connected. You can enjoy music or audio wireless now.
Connect with Two Cellphones
- After the first device is successfully connected, turn on Bluetooth function of your second cellphone.
- Search the device name “SOUL 3” , click to pair, if successfully connected, it will show up the second Bluetooth icon.
PLEASE NOTE: If successfully connected, it will automatically connect to the last paired device when power on next time. Make sure you turn on Bluetooth function of your cellphone before SOUL 3 is powered on.
Automatically Power Off
SOUL 3 will automatically power off in below cases:
- No device is connected in 5 minutes when power on.
- Successfully connected but out of working range, fail to connect in reconnecting state in 5 minutes.
- Battery voltage is below 2.8V.
PLEASE NOTE: When SOUL 3 automatically power off, you should firstly toggle to “OFF” then toggle back to “ON” to power on.
Low Battery Alarm
When the battery voltage is below 3.1V, SOUL 3 will alarm with prompt sound; And will automatically power off when voltage is below 2.8V.
PLEASE NOTE: When plugged on the 30pin dock speaker, it will charge automatically and stop charging if get full power. It can only get charged by 30pin port.
