Confirm your test details
Make sure your name and date of birth are correct. Enter the
collection tube ID, found on the side of your collection tube.

Press “Register kit”
Collect your sample immediately after registering. Sample collection takes less than 10 minutes.
You must register your kit to get results.

Collect your sample
Carefully read all instructions before collecting your sample.
Did you register your kit? If not, go back to steps 1–3
We recommend collecting your sample while seated.
Do not touch the soft tip of the swab.
Do not touch or drink the fluid in the collection tube.
If the fluid touches eyes or skin, rinse with water.
If you spill the fluid or the swab touches any surface other than inside your
nostrils, clean the area with your routine household surface disinfectant.
Discard your kit components.

Wash and dry your hands
Wash your hands with soap and warm water for 20 seconds. Clean the surface of the area where you will collect your sample.
Use hand sanitizer if there is no sink. -
Open the swab pouch
Peel back the tab on the handle end to remove the nasal swab from the pouch. Hold by the handle, do not touch the soft tip. Discard the swab pouch.
Do not touch the soft tip of the swab to any surface other than inside your nostrils. -
Swab first nostril
Insert the soft tip of the swab 1/2 – 3/4 inch inside your nostril. Rub the swab in a slow circular motion against the inside walls of your nostril at least 4 times.
This should take about 15 seconds. -
Repeat in other nostril
Repeat the previous step in your other nostril using the same swab.

Put swab in collection tube
While holding the swab, open the tube. Put the tube cap with the flat top down on a clean surface nearby. Put the swab soft tip down in the tube.
Do not spill the fluid in the tube! If you spill the fluid, clean the area and discard your kit components. -
Break off the swab handle
To break off the swab handle, hold the tube firmly. Bend the swab handle at the indicator line back and forth against the collection tube until it breaks. Discard the swab handle.

Recap the tube
Make sure the cap is on tight, so that no fluid can spill out. If the tube leaks we cannot process your sample.
Wash your hands (or use hand sanitizer).

Put tube inside the plastic bag
Put the sealed tube inside the plastic bag. Release excess air from the bag and seal it shut.
Clean the surface area with a disinfectant.

Checklist before returning your bag
- I registered my kit (if not, go back to steps 1-3).
- I collected a sample from both nostrils.
- The nasal swab only touched my nostrils.
- I did not spill the fluid in the tube.
If you have not checked all of the boxes, your test cannot be processed. Discard your kit components and get a new kit.

Drop off your bag at your worksite
Within 24 hours drop off your sealed bag at your designated worksite. Once your sample has been sent to the lab, you will receive updates via e-mail/SMS.

Important reminders

Keep your mask on while in the testing site. Your mask should cover your mouth at all times.

Carefully follow all instructions. If you miss any testing steps your results may be inaccurate or result in an error.

Collect a sample from both nostrils.

The nasal swab tip should not touch anything except inside your nostril.
If the swab tip touches anything other than inside your nostril, discard your kit in the waste bin at check-in, clean the testing area with a disinfecting wipe, and request a new kit. -
Do not spill any of the fluid in the tube. If you spill the fluid in the tube, discard your kit in the waste bin at check-in, clean the testing area with a disinfecting wipe, and request a new kit.

Remove the lid from the tube and place the tube in the holder.

Open the swab pouch from the handle end. Remove swab from the package. Hold by the handle.

Lower face mask below your nose.
Do not remove mask. Keep your mouth covered while collecting sample. -

Put trash in the waste bin at your station. Keep your sample. -
Put your sample in the collection bin as you exit.
Remove gloves and sanitize your hands as you exit.

Your test kit includes a biohazard bag, test tube and nasal swab. If you run into problems with your test kit, wipe down the area and discard kit in the waste bin at check-in station. Get a new kit.

Put on gloves. Wipe the station with disinfecting wipes. Then use hand sanitizer.

Remove the lid from the tube. Place the tube in the holder.
Do not spill the fluid in the tube! -
Open the swab pouch and remove from the package. Hold at the bottom.
Do not touch the soft tip! -
Lower mask below your nose.
Keep your mouth covered. -
Swab first nostril.
Insert the soft end of the swab 1 inch. Rub the swab slowly against the inside walls of your nostril at least 4 times.
This should take about 15 seconds. -
Repeat in other nostril.
Then place mask to cover your nose. -
Place swab into the tube. Break at the indicator line by bending back and forth against the tube.
Tightly recap the tube.
Do not spill the fluid in the tube! -
Place the tube into bag. Remove air and seal the bag.
