Introduction

You can ask Alexa to call anyone using your home phone service with Echo Connect and a compatible Alexa-enabled device—all you have to do is ask. Friends and relatives can recognize the call because Echo Connect uses your home phone number, whether it is VoIP or landline. When you’re busy preparing dinner or away from the phone, you can effortlessly talk to anyone hands-free by answering your home phone on your Echo.

You never have to search up a phone number since Alexa and the Alexa App keep your smartphone’s contacts in sync. On alexa.amazon.com, you can add new contacts. Alexa will identify the caller when it comes from someone on your contact list.
