Introduction
Thank you for your purchase of the Targus Compact Multi-Device Wireless Mouse. The USB receiver conveniently attaches to the mouse for ease of use while traveling or on the go. This is a plug and play device so no additional software is required.

Installing the Battery

  1. Open the battery cover at the top of the mouse.

  2. Insert the AA-size battery, making sure that the positive (+) and negative (-) ends of only one battery match the polarity indicators inside the battery compartment.

  3. Close the battery cover, carefully fit the cover until it clicks into place.
    Use the “ON/OFF” switch to power the mouse on or off. Turn OFF to save battery power.

  4. When the battery is low , the lower power indicator light on the top will flash to indicate the battery need to be replaced.

Establishing the Connection of 2.4G Wireless

  3. Click the wireless channel selection button to select first 2.4G channel, then the white LED indictor will light up and pair automatically.

Power Saving mode:
After an extended period of time, if the mouse is not used after 30 minutes, it will automatically enter power saving mode to conserve power and increase battery life. Click on any mouse button resume the normal operation. The mouse may take a few seconds to reconnect with your computer.

Establishing the Connection of Bluetooth

Establish Pairing

  1. Turn on the mouse by sliding the power button to the ON position.
  2. Switch ON the Bluetooth function of your device and turn on the Bluetooth search mode.
  3. Press the connect button on the bottom of the mouse to select one of the 2 Bluetooth channel first , then hold down the button for 3 seconds to enable Bluetooth pairing mode, the white indicator light will fast flash for up to 2 minutes when the mouse is in paring mode.
  4. Tap “Targus AMB581” in the Bluetooth search menu on your device.
  5. The pairing will start automatically. Press the Bluetooth channel button to switch between device once multiple device have been connected.
  6. The Targus AMB581 is now connected to your device and the white light will stop flashing.

Targus warrants to the original purchaser that its products are free from defects in materials and workmanship and, during the specified warranty period, and lasts as long as the original purchaser owns the product. The original purchaser must bear the cost of the delivery to Targus. Under Australian and/or New Zealand Consumer Laws, in addition to any warranty Targus gives, our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are entitled to have the products repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
