Aiwa AA-K21S Electric Kettle
Intended use
This Electric Kettle is intended for private use & for boiling drinking water
only. It is not suitable for use with other liquids and should not be used
commercially
This appliance fits all the relevant norms and standards related to the CE
conformity standards. Any attempt to modify, alter, dismantle the appliance is
dangerous and may result, in the product being no longer safe to use and
failing to meet the relevant conformity standards.

Safety Instructions
- This appliance can be used by children aged from Byers and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance 1n a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Before first use
- Remove all stickers, protective foils and plastics from the device
- Place kettle on a flat, stable surface and ensure a minimum oflOcm free space around the kettle.
- The kettle is not suitable for use in a cabinet or outside use.
- Before first use, please boil a full kettle of water to clean to kettle. Discard the water afterwards.
- Connect the power plug to a suitable socket. (Please make sure the indicated voltage on the device matches the local voltage before connecting the device. Voltage 220V-240V, 50-60Hz)
Operating Instructions
Thermal safety cut-out
The pre-set thermal safety cut-out protects the heating element from
overheating should the appliance be erroneously switched on without any water,
or if the heating plate is calcified. If the safety cut-out 1s activated, the
appliance cannot be switched on again. In such a case, the appliance must be
allowed to cool down or must be descaled before it is switched on again before
it is switched on again
Always fill up the kettle to a SAFE water level.
MIN MUM SAFE WATER LEVE: 500ml
MAXIMUM SAFE WATER CAPACITY 1.7 L
Boil to 100 °C (DEFAULT SETTING)
Plug it to a suitable power source and press the ON/OFF button to turn on the kettle. The kettle will power off automatically after 3 minutes.
Heat to desired water temperature and keep warm
Adjust target temperature using令= buttons. (士5’C)
Minimum Temperature: 40’C Maximum Temperature: 90 “C
Press the ON/OFF button to confirm and start heating
KEEP WARM function will be automatically triggered upon reaching the desired
temperature. (120 Minutes)
This function can be cancelled by pressing the ON/OFF button again
Cleaning and Maintenance
- Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and wait for the appliance to cool down
- Use a soft damp cloth to clean the housing of the device.
- Clean the appliance with a damp cloth. Never use harsh and abrasive cleaners, scouring pad or steel wool, which damages the device.
- Never immerse the kettle and base in water or any other liquids.
- The device should be regularly decalcified. Use a descaling product that is suitable for household appliances
- Rinse the kettle several times with clean water after descaling
