  • Display Off: Only switch off the display. Other parts are still working.
  • Restart: Restart the device completely.
  • Hibernate: The device will reboot quickly next time.
  • Power Off: Switch off the device completely. This mode is suitable for outings. Next time, press the device’s power button twice to power on the

Getting Started

The device on/off

When you use the device for the first time, the mistouch prevention feature is enabled. Therefore, press the device’s power button twice to power on the device. We recommend that you connect the device to the power source during its first-time use.

Remote Control Pairing
  • Place the remote control within 10cm of the device, press ” ” and ” ” simultaneously, an indicator light will begin flashing as the remote control enters pairing mode. Buttons can be released as soon as flashing begins, and the connection is successful when a “ding” is heard.
  • If pairing fails after the 30s repeat the above steps.
Function Description of Remote Control
  • Focus adjustment
    When the function switch at the bottom of the remote control is moved to the right (Focus), the automatic focus function is enabled. You can adjust the focus by using the “VOL-F/- ” button. When the function switch is moved to the left (VOL), the focus adjustment is disabled. You can use the ” VOL+/- ” button to control the device volume.

    To access the shortcut key function, briefly press the Settings button ” “

Automatic Focus Adjustment/Remote Focus Adjustment
  • When the automatic focus adjustment function is enabled, the frame will be adjusted automatically when you turn on the device or move it to another location.
  • You can enable automatic focus by using the switch at the bottom of the remote control. Move the switch to the right (Focus) so that the “VOL+/-” button can be used to adjust the frame.
Automatic keystone correction
  • When the automatic keystone correction function is enabled, the frame will be adjusted automatically if you move the device to another location.
  • When the automatic obstacle avoidance function is enabled, the frame will automatically avoid obstacles if there are obstacles in the projection area. When the automatic screen alignment function is enabled, the frame will automatically match the screen if there is a 16:9 or 16:10 screen in the projection area.
  • Press the button on the remote control to enter the “Keystone Correction” page. Select “Auto Keystone Correction” to enable the automatic keystone correction function. Select “Manual Keystone Correction” to adjust the four points and the size of the frame.
Google Assistant
  • Talk to Google to control your TV using your voice. Press the Google Assistant button on your remote to search for movies and shows, get recommendations to match your mood, get answers, control smart home devices, and more.
Bluetooth Speaker
  • Use mobile Bluetooth settings to search for “XGIMI Halo+” to pair with the device and play songs.
Chromecast Built-in™
  • Easily cast your favorite movies, music, and more to your TV with Chromecast built-in.
  • Simply tap the Cast button from apps you already know and love to stream entertainment from your phone, tablet, or laptop to the TV. While you are re-streaming, you can keep using your phone for other things- scroll through social media, send a text, and even accept calls.
More Settings
  • Set your device and image at any interface by using the Settings button ” 0 ” on the remote control.
  • The various settings are described as follows.
Brightness and color Select a brightness mode and adjust the parameters.
Image mode Select different image modes in different scenarios, such as

movies, football, office, and game, to adjust the image parameters of video or signal sources. The low-latency option is the available in-game mode.
Sound effect| Adjusts the frame ratio of a signal source.
Focus Calibration| If the autofocus function is not as good as before after long-term use, you can tune the automatic focus adjustment function through “Focus Calibration”. Note: Follow instructions on the screen.
Keystone Calibration| If you are not satisfied with the effect of the automatic keystone correction function, you can recalibrate the automatic keystone correction function through “Keystone Calibration”.
Note: Follow instructions on the screen.
Gyro Calibration| If the automatic keystone correction function is not as good as before after long-term use, you can recalibrate the gyro through “Gyro Calibration” to optimize the effect of automatic keystone correction. Follow instructions on the screen.

Charging Instruction
  • The device should be charged with an official, standardized adaptor.
  • Charging time will be lengthened for charging under the power-on state.
  • If you plug into an adapter under the powered-off state, a blinking red indicator light represents charging while the green indicator light represents that the battery is fully charged. (The green indicator light will extinguish after it is on for 10s.)
  • If your device will remain unused for long periods of time, the device should be fully charged. Select the Power Off mode when you switch off the device. (In this mode, the mistouch prevention feature is enabled. The power consumption is low, and the device cannot be powered on by using a remote control. Users can only press the device’s power button twice to power on the device. Alternatively, you can connect the device to the adapter, and the mistouch prevention feature is disabled by default. Then, you can simply press the power button once to power on the device.) Moreover, charge the device once every 3 months to avoid irreversible capacity loss or damage arising from low battery. This is because the battery will self-discharge during the excessively long storage time.
System Upgrade
  • The system can be upgraded only when the device has at least 50% battery power or is connected to a power source.
  • Online upgrade The online upgrade can be performed through system settings. Note: The online upgrade can be made through system settings ” “

Important Precautions

Correct use of the device:

  • Do not face lens into eyes because the strong projector light may cause injury to the eyes.
  • Do not block the air inlet/outlet of the device in order to avoid damage to internal electronic devices arising from normal heat dissipation failure of the device.
  • Do not wipe the lens directly with cleaning tools including paper and cloth in order to avoid damage to the lens. Please clean up the dust on the lens surface through clean air blowing.
  • Do not wash the device with chemicals, detergents, or any liquid in order to prevent the circuit board from being corroded by rainwater, moisture, and mineral-containing
  • Keep the device and its components and accessories out of reach of children.
  • Make sure that the device is used in a dry and ventilated environment.
  • Do not store the device in overheated or overcooled places, because extreme temperatures will shorten the life of electronic devices. Place and use the device in an environment of 0°C-40°C.
  • Do not put the device into any heating equipment (such as a dryer and microwave oven) for drying.
  • Do not firmly extrude the device or place barriers on it or its back to avoid damage to the device.
  • Do not throw, strike, or sharply vibrate the device to avoid damage to the internal circuit board.
  • Do not try to disassemble and assemble the device yourself. If any issue occurs, please contact the after-sales service of XGIMI.
  • Do not repair any product on your own. If the device or any component cannot work properly, consult the after-sales service of XGIMI in a timely manner or return it to the factory for repair.
  • Use care with the earphone may be excessive sound pressure from earphones and headphones can cause hearing loss.

The device meets provisions of part 15 of the FCC rule. Operation meets the following 2 conditions: (1) the device will not cause harmful interference, and (2) the device must accept any interference received, including interference that may result in accidental operations. Notes: the device has been tested to meet restrictions of part 15 of the FCC rule on B-class digital devices. These restrictions are aimed at providing the effective prevention of harmful interference in a residential installation. If installation and use are not made according to the instructions, the device will generate and radiate radio frequency energy, and may cause harmful interference to radio communication. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. CE Maintenance

  1. Risk of explosion if the battery is replaced by an incorrect type. Dispose of used batteries according to the instructions.
