Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the Smile- Bluetooth speaker, the entirely new concept. It is totally different from a traditional speaker: Floating speaker with waterproof IPX7 and fancy LED light on the top.

Function Profile

  • Press and hold for 2 seconds to turn on / off.
  • Under Bluetooth connection status. Click Disconnect enter pairing status, after a long time to disconnect the Bluetooth short press to connect back.
  • In the on state, short press to turn on / off the light effect.
  • Next song: Long press during music playback to switch to the next song.
  • Volume up: Click to increase the volume when the music is playing, there will be a beep sound when it is increased to the maximum.
  • Previous song: Press and hold to switch to the previous song during music playback.
  • Volume down: Click Volume down during music playback.
  • Click once to switch pause/play music
  • Fully compatible with more than 99% of mobile phones on iOS and Android platforms.

Bluetooth Connection

  1. Turn on the Smile, Smile is ready for Bluetooth connection;
  2. Navigate the Bluetooth function of your device (Select “Set Up” Bluetooth or turn “ON” Bluetooth);
  3. Select “Search” or “Discover” devices;
  4. Select Bluetooth “COWIN SMILE”;
  5. If required, type the password or PIN 0000; After completing the steps above, a message on your device will appear confirming that your device is now paired/connected.
  6. In case of unsuccessful pairing, turn off the speaker and restart it.
Charging and LED Indicator Light

Built-in lithium battery can be charged by Micro USB cable, see below picture:

Turn on charging
Middle LED lights up red for 5 seconds and then turns off during charging, and continues to light effect. After full charge, Middle LED lights up for 5 seconds and continues to light effect.
Shut down and charge
Middle LED lights up red and lights up green when fully charged

Light effect description:

  1. Light blue—power on, Bluetooth is not connected.
  2. White light—Bluetooth is connected and no music is playing.
  3. Red—Purple—Blue—Cyan-blue—Green—Yellow—White—Red—Lit loops when playing music.

Product Care

Your device is designed to be durable, but as an electronic device, it must be treated carefully. Putting unnecessary pressure on it or striking the device against other objects may cause damage. Below matters that need attention:

  • Please stuff up the white bung (which cover the USB and TF slot) tightly before use every time
  • Do not drop, crush, bend or apply excessive force to the device.
  • If there is water on the speaker driver, to enjoy better sound quality, please reverse SMILE and pour out the water.
  • Clean the unit w ith a s oft cloth or damp chamois leather. Never use solvents.
  • The unit can only be opened by a professional person

Please do not keep working SMILE underwater for a long time to avoid damage to the speaker driver.
To avoid damage to SMILE, please keep the USB port plug dry, prevent any liquid from flowing into the docking.
This device contains magnets. Keep magnetic field-sensitive products such as credit cards and video screens away from this device to avoid damage or malfunction.

WARNING:

DO NOT expose your device to extreme or prolonged heat, cold (can be used in water 5℃-50℃) or other adverse conditions. When charging, please keep the speaker away from water and DO NOT
leave it alone in your room.
