  • Familiarise yourself with this product’s application and limitations, as well as any specific potential hazards peculiar to the beacon.
  • Replace or repair damaged parts. Use recommended parts only. Non authorised parts may be dangerous and will invalidate the warranty.
  • DO NOT use the beacon for any purpose other than for which it is designed.
  • DO NOT allow children to operate the beacon.
  • DO NOT operate the beacon if any parts are missing or damaged as this may cause failure or possible personal injury.
  • When not in use switch the beacon off and where appropriate remove plug from power supply.
  • This beacon is intended to be used only in 12V or 24V DC systems.
  • The beacons are meant to be used as a warning signal. Applications e.g. Trucks, excavators, agricultural machines and tractors etc.
  • DO NOT look straight into the light. The bright light may cause a serious eye damage.
  • Make sure that the beacon is properly installed before driving the vehicle.
  • Follow the country-specific regulations when installing the warning lights on the roof of the vehicle

INTRODUCTION

WB951LEDG: Green colour beacon for use on plant vehicles to indicate that a seatbelt is being worn. Single point-mounting beacon suitable for direct mounting to vehicle roof using 12mm bolt. Fitted with 36 1W high power LEDs. 120 Flash per minute pattern. Fully meets ECE R10 regulations. IP Rating of IP66.

WB951LEDR: Red colour beacon to be used in recoveries on normal and smart motorways. Single point-mounting beacon suitable for direct mounting to vehicle roof using 12mm bolt. Fitted with 12 high power LEDs. 120 Flash per minute pattern. Fully meets ECE R65 and ECE R10 regulations. IP Rating of IP66.

WB952LEDR: Red colour beacon to be used in recoveries on normal and smart motorways. Three point-mounting beacon suitable for direct mounting to vehicle roof using 3 x 6.5mm bolts. Fitted with 12 high power LEDs. 120 Flash per minute pattern. Fully meets ECE R65 and ECE R10 regulations. IP Rating of IP66.

WB954LEDR: Red colour beacon to be used in recoveries on normal and smart motorways. Fitted with a powerful magnet, strong enough to cope with normal road speeds and holes for optional mounting via screws. Supplied with 3m coiled flex and universal vehicle accessory socket plug. Fitted with 12 high power LEDs. 120 Flash per minute pattern. Fully meets ECE R65 and ECE R10 regulations. IP Rating of IP66.

WB955LEDG: Green colour beacon for use on plant vehicles to indicate that a seatbelt is being worn. Flexible spigot beacon suitable for mounting on top of a pipe. Fitted with 36 1W high power LEDs. 120 Flash per minute pattern. Fully meets ECE R10 regulations. IP Rating of IP66.

FIXING INSTRUCTIONS

SINGLE BOLT FIXING

  1. Drill a 13mm mounting hole in a suitable point on the vehicle.
  2. Connect to cables of at least 2mm² section and use an 8A fuse; check polarities.
  3. Fix the beacon by using nuts and washers according to the type and shape of the mounting surface

THREE BOLT FIXING BASE

  1. Drill mounting holes using the beacon base as a template. Also make provision to route cables into the vehicle.
  2. Connect to cables of at least 2mm² section and use an 8A fuse; check polarities.
  3. Fix the beacon with 3 x M6 screws.

MAGNETIC BASE

  1. Fitted with high power magnet strong enough to cope with normal road speeds.
  2. Supplied with 3m coiled flex and universal auxiliary power outlet plug.
  3. The beacon must be placed on a surface parallel to the ground.
  4. The surface should be flat and clean to ensure good adherence.

FLEXIBLE BASE WITH DIN SPIGOT MOUNTING.

  1. Fit a suitable adapter socket onto the vehicle. Make sure it is perfectly vertical.
  2. Use cables of at least 2mm² section and use an 8A fuse; check polarities.
  3. Push the beacon spigot down fully onto the adapter socket and secure by tightening the wing nut.
  4. When the beacon is removed, always close the adapter socket outlet using the rubber cap.

FLASH PATTERN

  1. Single Flash 120 flashes/Min: Switch 1 on.
  2. Dual Flash: Switch 2 on.
  3. Rotation: Switch 3 on.
  4. Quad Flash: Switch 1 and 2 on.
  5. Multiple Flash: Switch 2 and 3 on.

VOLTAGE SELECTION

The beacons will switch between 12V and 24V automatically.

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION

Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the product becomes completely unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any fluids (if applicable) into  approved containers and dispose of the product and fluidsaccording to local regulations.

WEEE REGULATIONS
Dispose of this product at the end of its working life in compliance with the EU Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). When the product is no longer required, it must be disposed of in an environmentally protective way. Contact your local solid waste authority for recycling information.
