Installation Instructions
- Select a suitable pattress or knockout box 16mm or deeper. Make a suitable knockout and thread the cable through (use a rubber grommet for steel boxes).
- Strip 15mm of the outer sheath, pull back braid and tear off or cut off foil if present.
- Twist braid together and wrap-around inner insulation as shown, strip 6mm from inner insulation to expose central conductor.
- Loosen terminal and braid clamp screws and insert cable as shown in Fig. 3. Tighten terminal screw then braid clamp screws making sure cable is held firmly but inner insulation is not crushed.
- Trim away any loose strands of braid to prevent short circuits.
- Position the faceplate carefully in the wall box, making sure the cable is not kinked or trapped. Tighten the screws carefully while holding the plate in place (don’t over tighten).
