SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Before use make sure to read all the below instructions in order to avoid injury or damage, and to get the best results from the appliance. Make sure to keep this manual in a safe place. If you give or transfer this appliance to someone else, make sure to also include this manual.

In case of damage caused by user failing to follow the instructions in this manual the warranty will be void. The manufacturer/importer accepts no liability for damages caused by failure to follow the manual, a negligent use or use not in accordance with the requirements of this manual.

  1. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
  2. Children shall not play with the appliance.
  3. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
  4. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
  5. Bath tubWARNING: Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing water.
  6. When the hairdryer is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use since the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the hairdryer is switched off. For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device  (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask your installer for advice.
  7. Before inserting the plug into the mains socket, please check that the voltage and frequency comply with the specifications on the rating label.
  8. If an extension cord is used it must be suited to the power consumption of the appliance, otherwise overheating of the extension cord and/or plug may occur. There is a potential risk of injuries from tripping over the extension cord. Be careful to avoid dangerous situations.
  9. Disconnect the mains plug from the socket when the appliance is not in use and before cleaning.
  10. Ensure that the mains cable is not hung over sharp edges and keep it away from hot objects and open flames.
  11. Do not immerse the appliance or the mains plug in water or other liquids. There is danger to life due to electric shock!
  12. To remove the plug from the plug socket, pull the plug. Do not pull the power cord.
  13. Do not touch the appliance if it falls into water. Remove the plug from its socket, turn off the appliance and send it to an authorized service center for repair.
  14. Do not plug or unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet with a wet hand.
  15. Never attempt to open the housing of the appliance, or to repair the appliance yourself. This could cause electric shock.
  16. Never leave the appliance unattended during use.
  17. This appliance is not designed for commercial use.
  18. Do not use the appliance for other than intended use.
  19. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.
  20. Keep the device and the cable away from heat, direct sunlight, moisture, sharp edges and suchlike.
  21. Never leave the device unsupervised! Switch off the device whenever you are not using it, even if this is only for a moment.
  22. Do not spray aerosol products into the air inlet of the hair dryer when the hair dryer is running.
  23. Use only original accessories.
  24. Do not use the device outdoors

BEFORE USE

  1. Fully unwind the mains cable.
  2. Attach the nozzle onto the air outlet. Using the hairdressing nozzle, individual sections of the hair can be dried by bundling the air flow. Make sure that both the nozzle and filter are correctly assembled.
  3. Attach the diffusor onto the air outlet, it can expand the blowing area and dry your hair faster

To detach/attach the nozzle

Snap the nozzle off from the air outlet. When you place it back, make sure it is firmly connected.

To detach/attach the filter

Hold and turn the filter anti-clockwise to release it from the appliance. When assembling the filter back, align the bulge and space at two sides and turn the filter clockwise until the filter is firmly assembled.

HOW TO USE THE HAIRDRYER

  1. Make sure the airflow switch is set at the “0” position before you plug the appliance.
  2. After connecting the power, select the desired heat and airflow to start drying or styling. Whichever the setting you choose, as long as you keep pressing the cool shot button, the appliance will send out cool air.
  3. Move the hair dryer around your hair and keep your hair in a small distance with the nozzle. Avoid focusing too much heat on one area. Keep your hair away from the air inlet to prevent hair being drawn in.
  4. After use, turn the airflow switch to the “0” position to turn off the appliance, and then remove the plug  from the power outlet.

Note! Should the hair dryer stop for any reason, turn it off at once and cut off the power, then let it cool down.

CLEANING AND MAINTANENCE

  • Ensure that the hair dryer is disconnected from the mains supply before cleaning.
  • Never immerse the hair dryer in water or any other liquids. Never rinse the appliance either. Always ensure that the plug is kept dry.
  • Clean the appliance with a soft and dry cloth without additives.
  • The nozzle and filter can be taken off for separate cleaning. If they are washed, make sure they become completely dry before assembling.

Note! Frequently clean out any hair or fluff that becomes stuck in the filter. Failure to keep filter clean may result in overheating

Defects which arise due to improper handling of the device and malfunctions due to interventions and repairs by third parties or the fitting of non- original parts are not covered by this guarantee. Always keep your receipt, without the receipt you can’t claim any form of warranty. Damage caused by not following the instruction manual, will lead to a void of warranty, if this results in consequential damages then we will not be liable. Neither can we hold responsible for material damage or personal injury caused by improper use if the instruction manual is not properly executed. Damage to accessories does not mean free replacement of the whole appliance. In such case please contact our service department. Broken glass or breakage of plastic parts is always subject to a charge. Defects to consumables or parts subjected to wearing, as well as cleaning, maintenance or the replacement of said parts are not covered by the warranty and are to be paid.
