Diamond LED Flare ™ by Wagan Tech ®
Thank you for purchasing the Diamond LED Flare ™ by Wagan Tech ® . With normal
care and proper treatment, it will provide years of reliable service. Please
read all operating instructions carefully before use.
WARNINGS
- Always consult your local highway safety guidelines for appropriate use and placement when using in emergency roadside situations.
- After prolonged use in wet environments, remove the battery cover and check for any moisture or condensation. Allow the unit to dry out before re-use.
- All batteries discharge over time. Replace batteries every 6 months.
- This product contains strong magnets that may cause interference with pacemakers and other implanted medical devices when placed within close proximity. Keep this product at least 6 inches from your chest if you have a pacemaker.
FEATURES
The Diamond LED Flare ™ has 10 light modes, including the U.S. Coast Guard- approved “SOS” morse code. It runs up to 38 hours in single-blink mode with AAA Alkaline batteries (3 per unit).

- Attachable: Strong magnetic backing allows flare to stick well to vehicles and an extendable hook can be used to fasten flare to backpacks and saddlebags.
- Compact: The Diamond LED Flare ™ fits easily in your glovebox. They can be mounted or stored just about anywhere.
- Versatile: Diamond LED Flare ™ units can be used for emergencies such as traffic control, a warning light, and a rescue beacon. They can also be used for recreational activities such as camping and biking.
- Watertight: Great for rainy weather and marine applications.
- Non-reactive: LED flares can be used in places where old-fashioned flares would be dangerous, such as in dry brush or in the presence of gasoline.
- Safe: Non-flame producing flare [complies with US DOT (FMCSA) 49CFR § 392.25 & 393.95(g)]

USAGE
- To turn unit ON: Click the power button.
- To change mode: Press the power button gently until desired flash pattern is found.
- To turn unit OFF: Click the power button.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT

Insert coin into the slot on the back of the unit and turn counterclockwise to loosen and remove the battery cover.

Install 3 AA batteries
• Replace the batteries in the proper orientation shown on the battery holder.
• For best performance, always replace all batteries at the same time. Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of different types (alkaline, heavy- duty, and rechargeable). -
Replace the battery cover and turn clockwise to tighten using a coin to ensure a tight seal.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
- All batteries discharge over time. Replace batteries every 6 months.
- Use a slightly damp cloth with mild detergent to clean the outer surface as needed.
- Batteries should be removed from your unit if it will not be used for an extended period of time.
WAGAN CORP. Limited Warranty
The WAGAN Corporation warranty is limited to products sold only in the United
States.
Warranty Duration:
Product is warranted to the original purchaser for a period of one (1) year
from the original purchase date, to be free of defects in material and
workmanship. WAGAN Corporation disclaims any liability for consequential
damages. In no event will WAGAN Corporation be responsible for any amount of
damages beyond the amount paid for the product at retail.
Warranty Performance:
During the warranty period, a product with a defect will be replaced with a
comparable model when the product is returned to WAGAN Corporation with an
original store receipt. WAGAN Corporation will, at its discretion, replace or
repair the defective part. The replacement product will be warranted for the
balance of the original warranty period. This warranty does not extend to any
units which have been used in violation of the written instructions furnished.
Warranty Disclaimers:
This warranty is in lieu of all warranties expressed or implied and no
representative or person is authorized to assume any other liability in
connection with the sale of our products. There shall be no claims for defects
or failure of performance or product failure under any theory of tort,
contract or commercial law including,but not limited to negligence, gross
negligence, strict liability, breach of warranty, and breach of contract.
